Good opening times and the store is always clean, clear and easily accessible. There is also a hot counter and a Costa express machine in this store.
Poor choice of vegetables and salad. Most of the shelves were empty. But good choice of everything else.
Loads of products to choose from. Good selection of fresh fruit and veg. The self checkouts are very quick to use, no waiting around to be IDed if you look over the age as it's controlled from the cigarette counter which is permanently manned. Loads of parking too which is very nice.
Not very impressed with this supermarket it's small in scale with narrow aisles and in my opinion not very covid safe. They have replaced normal checkout with self checkout so as long as you know what you are doing everything is fine but I think this may put some people off from visiting the store
No covid control at the door which meant there was far too many people in the store.. Only 1 person on the till ,with very long queue. Supervisor not very helpful, quite abrupt and more interested in filling up the mince pies rather than helping her colleague.
Nice sized store for a small village, bonus that it has parking at the side. Saved us having to go to bigger town or city on way back to campsite neat by.
Ten minutes, to buy a bottle of milk !!!!! All automatic tills in use, one serving at cash pay point, 6 in queue, yet staff are on shop floor, it gets worse, and not better since revamp. The old store was far better . Needs sorting out.
A decent range of groceries but let down hugely at the till by the apathetic and somewhat rude cashier Lyn**. I don't owe her living whatsoever, but her demeanour would suggest otherwise. Some customer orientated training should be a priority for management. Unimpressed.
Typical of any coop store. Clean and tidy and a good range of products were available.
Great value on the two medium sized chickens for £7. They are normally £4.50 each. This offer seems to be on all the time too.
