Where to even start. Big Asda; can't go wrong. Over the past year, this Asda has provided entertaining, practical, and formative experiences time after time. The store has everything you could ever need; a large car park, toys and games, STACKS of quality CDs, and food to die for, all at a bargain price. If I could come here every week, I would. Alas, I have recently moved away from the area so will have to save trips to Wezzy B's Big Asda to for the occasional Nottingham pilgrimage one of which has already, very successfully, taken place. People of Nottingham: journey to Big Asda in Wezzy B. You'll have a great time, buy some quality items, and form some friendships to last you a lifetime.
Such a convenient 24 hour option when you need a few items. The store is quiet after usual hours whilst staff work to stock shelves so be weary of boxes and pallets being moved around though staff do all they can to keep it out of your way. Despite being busy staff are still very helpful.
2 out of 12 conveyor belts open for shopping. Leaving this 1 star review whilst I queue. Disabled and elderly waiting 10 minutes to get served. Avoid this store if possible. Edit: The store was not busy, they just choose to add more and more self-serve checkouts, ignoring the fact that a lot of people don't want to or physically can't use them.
Went into store, went to the counter to pay, instead of using a note, I wanted to use my change I had left over to get rid. Was refused service until I had gone to the customer service counter and got my change put into notes. I understand that retail is stressful but I was made to feel so small by this colleague. Legal tender shouldn't be refused regardless of whether its time consuming or not..
Coming in from the Loughborough side, the road is full of speed traps. The store its self, had coat hangers all over the floor on the upper level, which made it difficult pushing a wheelchair. The worst thing I saw was an elderly lady being given a litter fine as her receipt had blown from her hand, she was distraught, but the council appointed person refused to give way on the matter. My elderly parents were shocked, and refuse to ever visit Asda again.
I have been waiting over 20 mins in the queue. Loads of tills not open on Saturday. Currently loosing the will to live. On a plus, staff are very helpful. Just checkout management needs to be improved. Update, another 5 mins has gone and I’m still here. Running out of water… will i survive??? Day 5, I have now eaten all the Crisps in the trolly…feeling weak. This may be my last entry. Day 7. I’m going to go out, I may be some time.
This rating is solely directed towards Asda Travel Money exchange. I called up asking if they exchange a currency and they said yes. I made a long journey out, wasting all my free time for the remaining of the week just to be told they forgot to update the system and do not accept my money. Highly unacceptable and ridiculous service! NOK to GBP currency. Said on phone to accept 1000 NOK note, in person it was a no.
Everything you could ever need and more! Spent nearly two hours here going down the home, garden and food sections. They even have a party supply section that offers balloon inflation. Enormous range and some great discounts on homeware that are sold out online
I convinced my wife to more from Aldi to asda it told over 2 years we started to go and over the last three week we went and they have nothing they the freezer aisle and bread aisle was empty the new essential food is non-existent a wife now is considering moving back to Aldi I went back in today thinking it was because of the time I go in and it was the same I lived in Nuneaton and went to asda they and Walsgrave and both are much better than this one I will be going back to Aldi
Sorry Asda but over the last few years this shop has gone down hill. Problem no staff so shelves empty, tills closed , after 20 minutes in the que gave up and went home
