I live just down the road to this co op and I have to say what a miserable bunch. Been going there for 3yrs and barely a smile from any of the workers..if it wasn't for the fact it is my local convenience store I wouldn't shop here..overpriced and poor customer service...it doesn't hurt to crack smile.

I live in Barnstaple and the staff in our local Coop [St Georges Rd] are always friendly and helpful. A true community store! But I was angry to learn that, with all the major supermarkets closed on Easter Sunday, they were incredibly busy and  I understand they do not get any extra monies for working that day. If that is true, shame on you Coop! A community business that boasts how it cares about people! Please can you respond to explain [a] if this is true and [b] if yes, WHY? Thank you CM Raleigh Meadow.

Great groceries and the staff are friendly

Great for everything that you need If you don't want to go out of town last minute to get mostly anything. Open Monday to Saturday 8am till 10pm and 10am to 4.00pm on Sunday which is the right time's as is wrong on this information page! Really handly if you live in the centre of town.

Handy store, long opening times, staff are always helpful - what else do you need!
