I've used this store for over three years and have always been a big fan. However in the last few months its really gone down hill. No stock on the shelves and erratic opening hours. The staff here are friendly and helpful. The COOP is a brand I have always respected. However the way they treat their staff and customers is really poor. Lets hope things can be turned around soon
I’ve gone to this co-op for years and in the last 6 months it’s gone from bad to worse! I really felt for the poor employees. Where’s the manager? They should be out with the employees throwing product onto the shelves and I can’t even imagine the expiration dates quality. I myself am a team leader in a high-end food store and there is absolutely NO supervision or organization period. Regional/Corporate really needs to get involved. I’m sure it goes against co-op’s mission statement the way this place is being handled. Such a huge shame for locals :

Probably one of the worst co ops I've actually ever been to..nnThe parking outside is firstly tighter than the cost of living having an effect on the wallet.. The store from the outside seems and appeals like any other co op. A very 1960's type feel to it, but as an image it shows what your looking for..nnUpon entry it was almost like a complete house of horrors really. No items available in the meal deal section really other than a prawn sandwich and a pork pie. Even the drinks selection was vacant..nnThe store is extremely claustrophobic and to top it all off the school run hits and it's horrendous. Constant piling.. The woman at the till simply tells the youth to get out. I'm not sure really what she may suspect they may steal as there was no items to really sell for the lunch time crowd in the first place.nnBakery section has nothing to it and only one cake on sale.nnThen when you get out the door the bloke outside attempts to lure you Into signing up for the lottery..nnYeah overall I'll keep on driving and won't be returning..
Taking precautions to avoid thieves is one thing, but the lady in the co-op today had an awful attitude , I was patiently waiting outside as there were a lot of people in the shop at the time and the lady may not want to many more inside. She came outside and had an awful attitude towards me, telling me to stand out the way and that she had “had lots of lip of other kids today” and that I wasn’t allowed in yet, then proceeded to let adults in, I in no way look like a thief, I had a perfectly nice attitude towards her, there was no reason for her to act so rude and pile me into the “other kids with lip”
