We ordered a double bed when dreams had a "if you don't find it comfortable we'll swap" policy. When we tried to return the bed, actually to buy a larger bed from them (my wife and I are quite tall), they refused as they said that it was our fault for choosing too small a bed. Their Head Office was rude and unhelpful and we were left feeling they had our money, and didn't care. We vowed never to buy from Dreams again, and indeed we've now bought 5 beds from other retailers and been very satisfied.

I ordered a new bed and was promised delivery on 11th April. On this date I just received an enormous headboard, but no bed. On querying this I was informed it will take a further 2 to 3 weeks for the bed to arrive. I informed the that I was not happy about this and would seek to find an alternative supplier who could supply the bed quicker and if so I would cancel my contract.I found a department store who promised me quicker delivery (within 5 days) so I phoned Dreams to cancel the order. There customer service attempted to keep me as a customer by offering me £80 discount, this I refused as time was of the essence. I then received a phone call from 'Customer cancellation team' who advised me that my deposit paid of £471.82 would not be refunded. and that I was advised about the bed coming after the headboard. This I strongly denied. I will never deal with this company again.
