Co-op Food & Grocery Store, Wollaton, Nottingham

Open until late it is always nice to be be able to pop to the local store. Friendly helpful staff with well stocked shelves.

I normally pop into the Sainsburys further down the road after work but decided to check out the Co-Op for a change. It turned out to be a pleasant surprise. The range of products available is far greater than the Sainsburys store. The Co-Op is not as attractive inside as the Sainsburys store, however it makes up for this with the wide variety of foods, spices, alcoholic beverages, etc that is stocked. Update - the store has now been refitted and the range of foods stocked has been drastically reduced. Everything now seems to be stored in cabinets which makes the store look tidy but not very inviting. I now no longer have a reason to go there since the variety of stock has been reduced so use the Sainsbury's down the road instead.
