Polite friendly staff shelves full of stock clean and tidy
Absolutely Ridiculous I’ve ordered over 50 times on ubber and 26 times coop staff can’t read a note and pop in the correct item. Every time this has happened I’ve had to ask friends to collect for me . Why don’t they reeducate the staff ? The manager Jameal has no telephone skills or customer service skills… Will be contacting head office as I’m exasperated with this service that they are supposed to run .
For whatever reason, their self service tills shout at 85 decibels. Not good for the millions of people who have tinnitus, mental health problems, nervousness, Alzheimer's, Asperger's, autism etc etc. Especially when 5 or 6 of them are shouting all at once when it is a cacophony of noise like you've never heard. Nowhere else does this and no good reason to do it although they quote ' it is for deaf people' which is a ludicrous answer in itself. It's been like this for years so despite its good range of stuff and ultra convenience I only go in there if desperate or just for a paper. Just bizarre.

Small co-op. Suitable for locals. Don't expect lots os different products. There's enough for daily basis living. 3 stars because of the poor maintenance. The store is always dirt. From pieces of paper on the floor, messy tills with shopping baskets and plastic bags all over, to the products on the shelves. The presentation is poor. The price is good when you get the offers. The staff is most of them helpful. Just don't expect a 5 stars store. It's not good taken care of, visually speaking . Staff could work on being more proactive towards shop maintenance and visual merchandising.
So although this shop has a great selection of lines and is very nicely laid out, I do find the lighting a little poor and the prices to high. There are a few handy things about this shop, like the self serve tills and the cash machine just inside the door. So for me this is more of a top up shop rather than a full out and out weekly shop place.
Very convenient, local. It has a good sized car park with dedicated bays for parents and children for quick access to the shop. It's always cool so no hot and sweaty food. All good quality fresh produce.
Great for last minute shopping. It is a medium sized supermarket, but has a pretty good range groceries. Plus Co-ops own brands. Also there's a fresh bakery with a decent selection of breads and cakes. You can do your weekly shop here too!A superb choice of wine, spirits, and beer. A small electrical department and kitchen equipment too. Hot food, available and coffee, as well.Sandwiches, salads, and pasta should you need a lunchtime takeaway. Ample parking to boot!
An impressive array of food for such a small location. Good parking with excellent policies that support local businesses. 2 hours free for coop customers. Buy your lunch and do some other shopping in Baildon.
