Lied to and refused service by staff for completely incorrect reason, elderly colleague unable to read dates. I understand a shops right to refuse service, but would rather not get lied to and treated like garbage when attempted to spend money in a shop.

I know it's boxing day, but it's says on the system that the shop is open till 10pm. just drove all the way to the shop for it to be closed. Please change the system.
Horrible customer service!! Rolling eyes,leaning on the serving top. Went in today at 12 pm to get my lunch . if this girl that served me doesn't like to work there,she should leave,simple as that. Disgusted ,never back.
Like most coops it seems, the staff are unbelievably miserable, and they’re always understaffed. Maybe that’s why. It always feels better to spend money in places that appreciate the custom.
A friend of mine who suffers severe MENTAL HEALTH issues has been a customer of the co-operative for over 20 years,that is until a few months ago. Having a few difficult days he entered the co-operative.As he was acting out of the norm,and struggled communicating his needs differently to how he has in the past,my friend was told not to ever come back to the store.He received a letter at a later date confirming he had been banned.Being frightened of what they don't understand is one thing,but to kick a sick man while he's down is quite another.When we see someone acting a little strange aren't we meant to help,or even call someone who can help,especially when the poorly man is one of your regular customers who you are on first name terms with.He has since tried apologise for how he was that day,The co-op shut him down and kicked him out again.WORRIED about peoples perception of him,he now feels under threat from the public and struggles to leave his house. CO-OP,The co- operative isn't that supposed to stand for CO-OPERATION??? What can I say,it's BLOODY DISGUSTING!! CO-OP, you should GROW-UP
Would not use! Rather not get spoke to like rubbish while spending my money in this shop, now I just go local independent shops,much better service and willing to go the extra mile for you.
Very friendly staff and carry a good range for a small local shop
