Reading the good reviews I was eager to try but was unfortunately very disappointed. The fish batter whilst crispy on the outside was so thick it was uncooked on the inside leaving an awful coating on the fish. The chips were pale and even though I asked for lots of vinegar got only a splash. Please bring back you being able to add your own salt and vinegar
Wow! If every seaside had a branch of these life would be so much better! Why do some chippies get it so wrong? The lovely people at Clifford’s keep it so clean and the food is cooked perfectly

I like good traditional fish and chips and that is what I always get at Clifford Fisheries. A fantastic traditional fish and chip takeaway run by two really nice people.
Great food and two great people running the business.
Superb fish and chips cooked and served by two lovely people. It is a real asset to Clifford and the surrounding areas. Plus they also welcome phone orders and now take card payments. Keep up the great work guys.
