A really good experience at Cliff Lakes in July 2024. Purchasing tickets was easy online. Entry was smooth and we were advised of how much time we had before the session began. You have the option of borrowing a wetsuit if you want and everyone has to wear a life jacket. The briefing could have been a bit clearer as the screen showing the instruction and safety video was quite small and we were in a large group of visitors. The changing rooms could benefit from some more cleaning attention between slots. A good variety of slides and inflatables, warm water and overall good fun!
One of the best aqua parks in the country in our families opinion, the staff explain everything at the start and off you go, lots of lifeguards around to help in case you need it, the slides and obstacle course are great fun for both kids and adults alike, the course can be quite taxing on you if you’re not in good shape but overall, great afternoon out in the sun and ensures the kids will be KO’d by the time they hit their beds!
A really great place for a family day, hen and stag or birthday parties.nGreat facilities and venue. Spacious.nAmple parking all around the park. Anpr and paid parking.nLots of places to sit and watch the kids on the inflatable obstacles.nDifferent obstacles and play areas for different age and ability.nHot food served from a burger van. Cheese burgers, chicken burgers, veggie burgers and hot dogs. Food was good to ok. Standard festival style hot food.nnCafe has ice creams, hot drinks and alcohol including Carling, Magners and Kopperberg.
This is fun!…physically hard work. There are 5 sections included in your ticket - also included is the wetsuit & some grip socks wetsuit is returned, grip socks are to keep.nYou can wear your own ‘water shoes’ but the socks are fine.nLockers need a padlock see photos these cost £3 & you keep it.nThere are 4 inflatable courses & a ‘high ropes’ course - if you manage to get to the end of the ‘hard’ high ropes course & ring the bell you win x2 tickets to return for free!nChanging rooms is just a big space…no individual changing rooms.nLocker area is small.nLife guards are attentive & the brief beforehand was detailed.nI found it physically challenging to get myself back into the platforms to get back onto the course…however with a pull from friends it is doable! nThere is seating for spectators - plus some within a see-through marquee should it be raining or cold.nThe water has a blue dye in & seemed clean. No weed/algae expect on the inflatables which is expectednThere was a lot of people the day we visited however we were told it wasn’t busy…due to the 5 different courses people seemed to spread out well.nI would recommend this & it’s great fun!
My first time here - A great place for kids and adults BUT the staff are either bad or have poor management and is why I’ve given 1 star. See picture of someone not being able to get out NO LIFEGUARDs helping. I had to talk to a manager to show that this area, people were getting stuck, adults and kids. I had to prompt the manager to call lifeguards to help and then had to prompt to tell the manager to tell the lifeguards to keep an eye on this area. The problem I have is that it took me in the viewing area to spot a problem and raise it, no lifeguard or management had a clue, apparently it is now being removed but it still begs the question…do I trust the lifeguards to be on the ball? at the moment I don’t have faith to drop my son off and be in safe hands but to have to watch him for 80mins. Even at the end there were kids in orange in the water 15mins after time where were the lifeguards!! it seems like either more lifeguards are needed or they are better managed.
