Just got back from having a great meal at the claycutters. Not having been to the place before and being disabled I was a bit nervous of what to expect. I shouldn't have worried! My wife ,daughter and myself were looked after from the moment we got there to the time we left.Fantastic meal ,brilliant service and wonderful staff. Highly recommend the place and look forward to the next time.

A lovely pub with very helpful staff and great food and drinks. The meals are very good quality and are reasonably priced making them great value for money. They accept dogs as well and we were all made to feel very welcome.

Just had a meal with daughter, she had chicken breast (dry) with vegetables, veg was rotten, as if it was from yesterday, 25% off for a ruined meal not very impressed. I had steak and ale pie, chips n pea`s which was ok. Previously had Sunday lunch there which was nice, so a bit disappointing

Seated immediately for a table of 3 with a toddler in high chair at 6:30pm. Wasn't crowded, even on a Saturday night, but we did visit during off-peak season in September. Atmosphere was welcoming from the moment we were greeted as we walked in the door. Table service was prompt, attentive, warm and friendly. Wait for food was moderate, enough that you knew they had taken their time preparing it, which was evident from the presentation of the food on the plate. Tasted brilliant, even a simple cheese burger was juicy and delicious. Definitely deserved the tip when paying. Will certainly be returning on our next visit now we know it's right on our doorstep from Finlake holiday park. P.S. Some of the artwork and photography around the place is really worth a closer look, even the place mats!
