Hi.
Over the past few years we have had a fair selection of tenants trying to run this pub.
It is a bit of fresh air having James & Anita take over, for a start the beer is excellent with a great range of ABV available across the 4 ales. Whether you fancy an evening meal or Sunday Lunch the food will not disappoint  nor will the service. Anita,s menu is both imaginative and tasty and won,t empty your bank account. For me, the main thing that I like is their interaction with the customer and the feeling that the Sandygate Inn of old is starting to return. Well done , I can highly recommend a visit.
P.S. Try Monday 26/2/18  they have quiz evening starting at 8pm. Good fun .

I asked for the prawns with a sweet chilli dip and received prawns drenched in mayo with paprika sprinkled on top. I think the dip means like a pot to dip it in if you want to like an option; not like the prawns are having a dip. Everyone got drunk

Great range of local beers and ciders. Lovely food as well. Would definitely recommend 👍👍👍

Staff friendly and food reasonably priced. Had an Indian all you could eat here you could pile up your plate as many times as you wanted. Food wasn't really authentic but still tasted really good. Plenty of parking across the road.
