Well I popped in for a pint during a walk, once served my pint I went to pay with card, oh we’re cash only, I was embarrassed as I had no cash “ah well you will know for next time” I enjoyed my free ale and promised to return to pay my dues. The next day returned with my wife and a pocket of cash ordered a couple of drinks but asked the same young lady to take for the third drink, she refused saying “no, I bought you that” have been back a couple of times since, bought the barmaid a drink in return, friendly welcome by locals and staff alike, highly recommended a visit
This is a wonderful pub, staff are really friendly, as a worker working late i got to use a toilet, if your passing through plean pop in the atmosphere is fantastic great and welcomi g staff. Thank you for being so generous to me on the 3/12/2022 begore 10 pm approached.
Cosy wee pub owners lovely can be busy can be quiet made welcome the food was great im not sure if they still do bar lunches
