Was looking for a pub-meal on short notice and No 2 was able to accommodate my extended family. I had the Bacon & Cheese burger which was great. The rest of my family had the Steak & Ale Pie which they they said was good. One of the kids and the Mac & Cheese, but didn’t enjoy it. They had lots of beer options, but was out of stock of some of the non-beer drinks that my family wanted. Will consider going back if I’m ever again in Sterling.
The food was great and price is right. Also really liked the Christmas decorations they had in there. Beer isn 't that expensive and the staff was friendly and polite. I recommend this place to the people that are in Stirling.
Super nice Service Crew, very tasty meals and cheap prices. We really Loved it.
I popped in after a long and eventful day at Stirling Castle. Perfect location, about 2 blocks from the train station for those who are in town fir a day trip. The food was amazing, and great cappuccino.
My friend and I needed a warm place to go since it was raining quite hard. We went in and felt so cosy and welcomed. The food was very good I recommend the halloumi and haggis fritters. Our servers were very kind, particularly the tall, blonde one. He was very handsome.
Food was absolutely amazing, service was super good, it was busy people sat inside and outside enjoying the whole atmosphere. Live music as well
Drove over to Stirling today and found a nice looking pub based on its good reviews. Our server, Charlie, was super friendly and helpful. He helped us narrow down some local gins for gin and tonics, and also recommended a place to buy bottles we liked afterwards. I had the fish and chips, which were very good...crispy and light, not soggy. The soup of the day, lentil, was also delicious. Another member of our group had the fried halloumi and chips option, and I must say, it's probably the best fried halloumi I've ever had. The finisher was a fantastic brownie and ice cream dessert. Forgot the photo of that one though. They don't take reservations, but we had no problems with an early dinner. Would certainly recommend and visit again.
Good food and service, there were gluten-free options. A little narrow aisles if you are using a wheelchair and some high tables, but no problem with walking sticks.
Spent two nights in Stirling with the wife. Found this pub next door to our hotel. Was so good, we didn't even look anywhere else for dinner the next night.! Staff are super friendly and helpful. There is a good selection of food, and you can even mix n match platters. The chicken karaage is AMAZING. Very relaxed atmosphere too. Pity I was rubbish at the pub quiz I blame the wife. Would highly recommend.
Nice pub. Good live music when we were there once they'd finished their extended sound check. Friendly.
