Absolutely disgraceful and discriminatory treatment of Motability customers. I had a clearly agreed time of 6:30pm to hand my car in, confirmed directly with a member of staff. I was reassured that this was fine, that they close at 7pm, and even Google shows 7pm as their closing time.nnWhen I arrived at 6:20pm, I was told they had already shut at 6 and they refused to take the car in – despite the fact this was the exact arrangement they made with me. This is not just poor service, it is a complete lack of honesty, organisation, and respect.nnThe way I was treated made it clear they had no regard for me as a Motability customer. It felt discriminatory, dismissive, and as though my time and needs didn’t matter simply because I am on the scheme. For a dealership to treat disabled customers in this way is shocking and unacceptable.nnThis isn’t a one-off mistake – it’s a reflection of their attitude towards Motability customers. I will be escalating this directly to Motability head office so they are aware of how City Gate High Wycombe are treating the people they are supposed to support.nnIf you are a Motability customer, avoid City Gate High Wycombe at all costs. They will waste your time, break their word, and treat you with zero respect.
If you want to experience top quality customer service, you will not find it here.nThe receptionist and mechanic were delightful, but the servicing customer service team were vile.nnThey did not listen to anything I said when I dropped my car in, they were combative when I questioned their knowledge of the service.nnThey were too busy trying to follow process and not busy enough putting their heads up listening to what’s going on around them.nnCustomer service should be there to empathise and resolve not berate, antagonist and patronise customers.nnUnfortunately, I will be back when they get my part in . If I get a better service I will certainly update my current review, or double down.
We were incredibly impressed with Citygate VW. We have been going around and around with whether to take the EV step and Adrian was incredibly helpful, understanding and patient with our questions and concerns and guided through the whole process, never pushing or aiming for anything other than helping us make the right choice. Also would like to mention Nikki, who greeted us on arrival and made sure we we able to access the cars we wanted to see and that we were looked after, and Laurance, who helped us with the choices with no pressure or agenda. I felt the whole process was honest and clear. And we will be returning.
Everybody at the showroom seems lovely, polite and professional. My Golf GTD went in for warranty work. The left paddle had completely jammed. They replaced the steering wheel with a brand new one and they called me every step of the way to update me. Very happy with their service.
Only passed my driving test a day ago and took a trip to VW Citygate High Wycombe to see what deals I could get for a first car , not only did Ali Shah get me a great deal he also did so for a family member of mine . Thank you so much for a pleasant and easy experience !!!
