A very unwelcoming place. The Assistant Manager seemed completely aloof from the get go. She did not even say hello when I entered and she didn't even say goodbye when I exited. Obviously, the staff here don't seem to have any manners or respect at all. Nonetheless, they seem to have a very good selection of optical frames and sunglasses. Honestly, I would never ever recommend City Opticians to anyone looking for a decent pair of glasses and/or sunglasses. Try visiting Fleet Street or High Holborn for much better optician shops.
Great selection of designer frames and really helpful staff. They were happy to help me try lots of frames off the rack and take pictures/make recommendations. I also had an eye test here which was fine.
My nose pads broke on a frame that is from a non-common make. Citi Opticians told me on the phone that they coudl help me after I tried a few shops around my workplace who said that they do cannot help. I travelled to Chancery Lane and my problem was fixed quickly. Thank you.
Been getting my eyes tested, buying contact lenses and frames here for 15 years. Very friendly, always accommodating - you don't get service like this any more.
Extremely well received. Fixed my glasses in an instant and made them look brand new!!
Service is patchy. Some staff are polite and knowledgeable, others a bit off hand.
