I’ve been with this surgery for a couple of years and find the reception staff to be warm and courteous and the doctors and nurses very helpful. I’ve not struggled to get appointments - yes there may sometimes be waits but with the pressures GP services are under I think Church View are performing well compared to surgeries I’ve been to before. The waiting area is also freshly decorated and well maintained so all in all I’d recommend this practice.
Wait 55 minutes on the phone for an afternoon appointment. I was second in the queue only to be told no appointments left. I questioned this and the receptionist said she has been answering the phone all afternoon and making appointments for people 18th in the queue. I complained that there must be an issue then with there system. So don't trust the queueing numbers. This is my updated review as I was probably a bit harsh at the time because I was annoyed. My complaint was about the telephone system. I find the staff very polite and helpful also the doctors and nurses so this to be a good surgery to belong to.
Extremely happy with Victoria on reception. , even though the doctors were busy today she put herself out and organised a prescription for me . I felt relieved to get this as I’ve felt really unwell . Thank you so much
I have been with this surgery for just 3 years and have had cause to use them on a few occasions. I have always managed to get an appointment and all the staff are courteous and kind. I have been very pleased.
I have been with Church View since 1994 and have never wanted to go anywhere else. Over the years I have had good service and only ever had one issue that was resolved promptly. More recently I have needed help and support from doctors, nurses and admin who were brilliant. I have been referred to The Jones Family Practice sometimes for a quicker appointment and received the same excellent level of care.
Shocking arrogance at this surgery. No chance of a face to face. My daughter called for a personal problem. Eventually got through to be told they'd do a video consultation. She wasn't keen on using a mobile phone to film her intimate bits but was told that's all she can have. Wife got a text to say she had to call for blood test results. Eventually got through to be told she'd need to speak to a doctor which would be in a few days when he gets time. Almost impossible to get through by phone anyway. They just want us to give them minimum hassle and inconvenience.
Tried to ring was told a doctor would ring between 11 and 1. As I work in a classroom I explained there are only certain times I can use the phone. Fa g me 4 times when I was unable to answer. Then had the cheek to tell me we can't give you a. Appointment now. Rubbish service diabolical service. I was in a lot of pain.
Absolute waste of time, Doctor really didn't care at all what was wrong or in helping me in any way, just wanted me out his office as soon as possible. I shall never return. Avoid this place at all costs.
Awful doctors, making COVID an excuse for their laziness. Doctor will phone you with test results saying if you need to have further investigation you need a face to face appointment but they can only make them on the day you ring and you must make yourself available for when they say you can come in, too bad if you work! Seems like you need to die before you see a doctor here
Been appalled by the way I’ve been treated at this surgery. Been to see two doctors now and both are useless, they don’t seem to care about your problems they just want you in and out as quick as possible. Don’t not see dr lapa had several problems with him. Will consider changing doctors surgery as not impressed!
