Fantastic family and dog friendly town nestling between gorgeous hills. It is an ideal base for walkers , fell running, mountain biking or just relaxing . Shops , pubs and cafes await customers with a cheery outlook. There is a shuttle bus on weekends and BH Mondays during the summer months that takes passengers over the Longmynd see website for details . There is an hourly bus service to Shrewsbury or Ludlow until around 6pm as well as a train station. A great place to visit .
Beautiful place. Cannot rate it highly enough!!
We love go.to longmynd for a good walk then browse the shops and cafes . There is a great shop called Salts cookery ware and home appliances with great artistic vases and crockery. Salts owners are really warm and friendly and the shop has a real history with a vintage shelf too.
Great place to live. Hills and great people. Parks, school, shops, banks everything to start a family
