What a fantastic find! This tea house is not just a place to eat; it's a step back in time with its gorgeous historical decor. The homemade scones with fresh jam and cream are to die for, and the sandwiches and salads are just as amazing. They're open late, so we didn't have to rush. The staff here can’t do enough for you—they make the whole experience even more special. Truly top-notch service. If you’re anywhere nearby, don’t miss out on this charming spot. It’s a must-visit!
A lovely cafe that is dog friendly but they don't do any food for dogs to eat! Missing a trick there ladies and gent, we managed with a shared ham sandwich for the hungry pups. We really enjoyed our red onion and cheese tart with mixed salads and crusty bread, that was delicious. Friendly service and prompt, a lovely courtyard to sit in, when the weather is more reliable too. A little pricey but most places are now, although worth it. Very enjoyable and we will return. Loved our first visit to Church Stretton.
Lovely old cafe in the middle of Church Stretton.Great cake.Superb cheese scones! nice small terrace garden with umbrellas.
I really enjoyed this cafe, the staff were lovely and kind, and the food was soooo fresh!!! And delicious . My only preference and this may be just my opinion but the menu's were a little difficult to understand, and there wasn't really any standard dishes past lunch, DONT GET ME WRONG the food is devine, it's just sometimes it's nice after a long morning to just nip to a cafe and grab something you know and love...nnThat being said one of, if not the best salad I've had yet, and even though I'm not much of a salad eater... And HATEnormally paying more for healthy salads than meat dishes... I must admit this dish was WELL worth the £12 I payed for the dish all be it a little more than id normally pay... But you can understand the price when you look at the shear variety of fresh produce on the plate!nnLong story shortnProsn•Great cafe environmentn•Great servicen•Fresh delicious producen•Great portionsn•Good clean and tidy cafe and the facilities are the same.nConsn•Menus a little confusingn•Limited standard dishes past lunchn•A touch on the pricey side... HOWEVER for the variety of ingredients just on the one plate it is phenomenal and reasonably priced for what you get.
Incredible food and service.nSat outside in a lovely quiet garden for breakfastnnStaff were so attentive and friendly.nnDefinitely heading back for lunch
