Wonderful dining experience by former Masterchef finalist. The Michelin 1* menu is quite different and innovative compared with other Michelin restaurants, which tend to have a more classic menu. Really liked the concept of the dining experience and would definitely return when the menu changes. The menu is about sustainability and using every piece of ingredient where possible. The palette cleanser was very interesting with basil ice cream and there are many hidden gems which pop out, literally, all the time...the menu is inscripted on a plate!
Had dinner with my wife at Frog a couple nights ago and everything was fantastic. All the courses were excellent and really creative. The presentation and plating of the dishes were excellent! Some of the ingredients used were to be expected, but some were really adventurous in keeping with Adam’s commitment to no food waste. Come here with an empty stomach as you will leave very full, the food just kept coming! The service throughout the evening was great. The environment of the restaurant was awesome, especially the open kitchen, what a cool touch! We highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a fun night out with adventurous food mixed in with some staples.
I was there to celebrate my wedding anniversary. My husband and I had the best time. The food was spectacular and the service was top notch. Every dishes was more special and tasted so amazing. I would highly recommend this place for anyone. The little card was such a thoughtful gift. At the end of our meal, we were given a Madeleine for the road but of course it was gone in a flash.
My partner and I dined here for a birthday meal, and I have to say it was probably the best dining experience of my life. For a Michelin star restaurant, it felt very young, hip, cool, and contemporary. The restaurant itself has beautiful, light, and airy interiors. It is painted white with dusty pink furnishing and modern art on the walls. The food was bloody delicious and the presentation was pretty and playful. I loved everything about my dining experience at Frog and would highly recommend it!
I can’t describe the experience we had with words, it won’t give it justice. This restaurant was our best gastronomic experience of our lives! My oh my what an experience! The food was phenomenal on so many levels, mind blowing and just gorgeous! Every plate was like a painting and the taste was out of this world. Also the most expensive gastronomic experience but so worth it
We were gifted the tasting menu and wine pairing. This was one of my favourite tasting menus of a handful that I’ve tried. The story and the journey really add to the experience and all the dishes were excellent. The pre-dessert is out of this world and the caviar dish was worth every penny. The service was also just excellent. Very personable and not snooty at all. We were looked after by Giuseppe in the booking stages and the team on the night also worked to make sure we felt looked after. Frog surpassed our expectations and I would love to return.
dinner menu ard £220pp Amuse-bouche Crab, herb stalks, radish Lobster wagyu Wagyu lobster Cod, green chilli, grapes Land or Air duck Caramelised apple, woodruff, custard Mignardises - been disappointed by michelin for several times yet thank you @adamhandling for helping me to gain back my trust on michelin resto with this amazing menu which has just newly launched Truly amazed by how a lobster could taste like wagyu I also like the idea of pairing bread with chicken skin butter, liver, and sauce rather than just simply serving with butter with some special spices which most of the other restos will do. Im also surprised by how they presented the menu to us which was hidden on the plate of plant I enjoyed a lot the whole dining experience and defo deserves a 3 stars instead! - Rating: 9.5/10 Frog by Adam Handling London 34-35 Southampton St, London WC2E 7HG, United Kingdom #7eating#7eatinglondon#7eatingmichelin#7eatingmichelinstar
Had an amazing birthday dinner here. Thank you for the lovely birthday card, candle dessert etc. Everything here is incredibly cute and sweet, nice cosy settings, beautiful presentation, fresh ingredients, friendly staff. The whole experience is better than most of the Michelin restaurants that I have been.Food: 5/5
Amazing experience from start to finish. They were able to accommodate gluten free for my husband and nut free for my daughter without sacrificing on quality, taste, or presentation. Fantastic service. We loved every bite and left with happy, full bellies. We were pleasantly surprised by some food presentations but won’t spoil the secret- you have to find out for yourself. Food was fresh, seasonal, and delicious. Service was impeccable. Highly recommended!!
Delicious meal. Sitting at the counter meant that we right there to see the action and talk to the chef multiple times throughout dinner. VERY fun. Below is entirely too much information about our meal. Good wine list, although generally high end pricing Duck sausage was delicious with delicate seasoning Chicken sando was the first little sando-style sandwich I’ve ever loved Bread & chicken butter — Handling’s signature dish for very good reasons Crab with herbs and radish was light and delicate with just the right balance of sweet and tartness Lobster wagyu I mean… it’s insane how good perfect lobster cooked in Wagyu tallow can be Cod, green chili, picked grapes didn’t really have a chili flavor or spice, but the cod was perfectly cooked and the pickled grapes were just the right bit of punch ‘Land or Air’ nice piece of duck with excellent execution but the star of the dish was the black pudding Palate cleanser parsley gelato, hibiscus, rapeseed perfect little refresher Sea buckthorn tart was the first time the buckthorn was actually good “Tomato” cocktail was okay but not outstanding especially compared to Astrit at Theo Randall Beef tea to start was underwhelming but that is likely on us for wanting it to be fattier and beefier Cheese and onion tart was fine, but the cheese could have been stronger
