Beautiful park, didn’t walk through it all, we sat under a massive tree and had a picnic. There was lots of little squirrels that seemed quite tame , so I assume they get fed by visitors. The only trouble we had was not being able to find restrooms but maybe we didn’t look hard enough!
Lovely place to take the children for a day out . The maniaion is fill of history and worth a visit. New play aera for the kids. ponds with lots of ducks and squirrels in the woods. Both can be feed by hand .watch out squirrels some times nip. .there is a cafe and disabled toilets. With on site disabled parking .well worth a visit .
Favourite park in Ipswich!nHas a wildlife pond, beautifully maintained gardens, pond with water fountain, Mansion !, cafe, ice cream kiosks, toilets, kids play park, stone chess boards, ping pong tables, tennis courts, beautiful ancient trees, an arboretum, lots of room for dogs to run around.
This was a really nice park. Large, with good walking paths. A balance of trees and open spaces and some scenic water features.nnDidn't seem crowded in winter. Nice to have some facilities in the park too.nnWould recommend this park for a pleasant stroll.
Excellent market, great atmosphere. So many great stalls, plus its always nice to sit in the sunshine with hot food, a drink and music.
