It was a busy Saturday that I went but it didn’t took 10 minutes before leaded to my table! Even it was a busy day but the service is good. Food came quick as well! Tasted amazing n look amazing! When ask to add hot water to teapot it is very quick. Thanks for all other reviews. Founded a nearby parking with discount code as well! Would come back again !
Great dim sum restaurant in the middle of Birmingham, reasonable prices for good and authentic food. The waiters can sometimes be too busy but the experience is good during off-peak times. Also note that some dishes are unavailable on Thursday and Friday since the dim sum chef is away
Very authentic Cantonese food. We ordered the set menu for four people, the food was well prepared and fast. I've been here for dim sum too and everything is fresh and delicious. I'd recommend coming here for a more authentic dim sum/dinner situation if you want to try traditional Cantonese food :
Loved the experience… the flavours were great and the food was amazing! Totally would recommend going to this place if you are in Birmingham! To be fair although I took the safest option and tried out the ones that I had an idea of, there are a variety of other choices you could try!!! The aesthetic and the vibes of the place are great too!
Particularly nice dishes cooked fresh. Fillet Steak was actually steak. The portions are generous one main each is plenty all in all Good food and good service. Some may find it expensive but for the quality and service and setting it’s worth it. Highly recommend
Search for Chinese restaurants in Birmingham and the China Court will likely appear at the top of the list - a "large, authentic, Chinese culinary experience". We rocked up at roughly 20:00, on a Wednesday evening during the holidays, to find just three tables occupied. We waited for a while before someone noticed us. Once they did, we waited a little longer while they tried to find a free table among the fifty-odd vacant ones. Eventually we were seated and 'encouraged' to order quickly as the kitchen was meant to close by 21:00. With almost as many diners as there were waiters, our expectations for food were not high. Thankfully, we were pleasantly surprised. Our food arrived, understandably, quite quickly. It was of a fantastic quality, my only gripe being the slightly dry crispy duck. Aside from the duck, we ordered black pepper chicken and noodles, a dumpling platter, sweet and sour crispy chicken, and egg fried rice. To summise, and as a rule of thumb, if a place isn't filled with patrons, chances are the food isn't great. But, sometimes, you can be pleasantly suprised. The only question then becomes whether you want to give a place a chance. China Court isn't fine dining. In fact it isn't even a great dining experience. But, if you're after a decent Chinese sit down, you could easily do worse in Birmingham's Chinese Quarter.
One of the best dim sum restaurants in the Uk. Authentic dim sums with great flavours and variety. However, the fried dim sums are not available on Thursdays and Fridays . Service was good and speedy. Overall great experience.Recommended dishesDim Sum, Crab Balls
By far one of the best Chinese restaurants around. Seriously authentic. Excellent and genuine customer service with Cantonese and English spoken amongst the team. Food quality and speed of service is impeccable. The food is what makes China Court really standout. The range of flavours and textures cooked in to every dish makes you want to work your way through the menu. The roast meats are always so succulent and vegetables are cooked perfectly. If visiting Birmingham's China Town or Brum city centre as a whole really head to China Court for some Dim Sum lunch or heir dinner menu later in the night.
Authentic Canton food. If you want to Yum Cha with a reasonable price in Birmingham, China Court will be a wise choice.
Nice food and good service. The only problem no lift, will be a problem for oldely people to climb up stairs.Food: 5/5
