Never call back, never take anything seriously until it's too late. I reported concerns in 2020 and again in 2021 regarding the same person, it wasn't until one of the children suffered a third degree burn in 2022 that they leeds children's services took action. Pretty much sums up the "care" they offer. Further action is being taken against all involved, I just wanted to share my personal experience with leeds children's services.
Absolutely disgraceful service they ruined my daughters life. Workers inexperienced and ineffectual, managers unprofessional esp Ben Newsome and line manager Jade. Should be vetted and offsted asap
Poor reception when reporting child safety issues and absolutely no call back from the social worker or her manager.
Shocking service. Reported a child at risk. Was promised a call back within a day. 72 hours later, still waiting..Appalled
They’ve dropped a case before even investigating there’s a child I reported clearly getting neglected and they’re just letting it happen! Like why?
Dreadful, like the rest of Leeds Social Services 'Care' for children is.
