A completely inept service who, by far, make things worse instead of better. They seem retiscent on destroying lives, passing scellatious and inaccurate information to other organisations in order to cause more damage without a care for those involved. They do provide help occasionally but it is often ill-judged and inappropriate to the individual's needs. They should call themselves 'Adult SociaI Don't Care' and they seem to base their attitudes and responses on D.I.L.L.I.G.A.F.
This is not a review. My stars mean nothing. If anything my stars are distorting the overall rating. I have not contributed to the reader experience at all. A review would describe an experience using the service or offer opinions on aspects of it. I have not done that. By failing to produce any non generic content that is directly related to an experience with this service, I am in violation of google review spam policy. I accept the consequences of my actions for this non review. I will not question google removing this post if Leeds city council decides to report it.
I rang this service this afternoon and the lady I spoke to was extremely polite and helpful. Of course they have to go through personal financial resources at some point to see if the person can afford some of what is being provided. Nothing comes free as it comes out of the rates.I cannot understand why people get on their high horse over financial scrutiny they must have something to hide. Needs cost money to cover. So far so good I say.

Staffed by very sensitive people. No seriously they are that easily offended it’s like walking on eggshells.
Absolutely appalling service. No respite for carers whatsoever, unless you pay them £48 per day out of your PIP, and they want to go through all your personal finances with a fine tooth comb. We did without the help. Not prepared to be belittled and degraded that way. So undignified. No such thing as a social worker anymore like we used to know back in the day. One told me she is leaving as all they do is outsource and leave them in the office with all the paperwork. Needed desperate help with rehousing due to chronic illness and a disabled daughter. Brand new qualified social worker, wrote a report that looked like a 5 year old had written it. Absolutely appalled at a so called professional persons grammar. Had to involve the department manager and point out all the faults. Manager was highly embarassed. Social worker refused support and suggested putting my daughter in care and finding myself a flat alone. Disgusted at the suggestion. We were blessed that a housing association saw the real need and trauma and gave us a beautiful new bui'ld 2 bedroomed family home. Terrible phone manner. Demanding to know all personal details before they would even take a message Calling people 'love' on the phone. No formality. Sending letters to people addressing them by their Christian names. So rude.
