Nice cosy place with really delicious Lebanese food. You need to make a reservation first. It's a goto place. Highly recommended for Lebanese food lovers like me.Food: 5/5
When Lebanese food is done authentically well, there's nothing like it. Chez Abir has taken care of the produce and little details in their dishes that make you feel like you're dining in someone's home in downtown Beirut. The smokeyness of the mouttaba, the velvety texture of the hummus, or the juiciness of the chicken shish kebab, did not go unnoticed. It was done just right and with love. The crunchy tattoush and the balanced okra were also delicious. I feel blessed to have this in our neighbourhood. Shall definitely be back to try other delights and warm hospitality.
Visited last night and had a selection of starters to share and get a feel for Lebanese cuisine. The presentation, flavours and quality were all outstanding, the lamb sausages were my favourite closely followed by the signature Chez Abir halloumi in bread with lovely spices. We were not in the mood for wine so instead we tried the dates and pine nuts drink jallab? - this was a game changer. It was sweet, which balanced out the lemon-based of the sauces to perfection, and the subtle rose water was just Will definitely return the next time I visit London!
Food is decent and well presented. Menu includes homemade lamb sausages. Average prices, limited tables so reservations recommended for dinner. Service is not added to the bill but you can tip when you pay, the option is available for cards too. Surrounding area is quiet because of the redevelopment of Olympia London, bound to be completed in 2024.
Food was really, really good! Very authentic but also somewhat different from other Lebanese restaurants in flavour. The best grilled bread with halloumi I've ever had, hands down! Vegetarian options: Halloumi, hummous, tabouleh, and quite a few more vegetarian dishes!
I ate here twice last week with friends and I can't recommend it highly enough. The food is as good as you'll find in the finest restaurants in Beirut and I've been there quite a few times. We had a selection of Mezzas, each one better than the other, and the house wine. All freshly cooked and incredible value The service from Gabriel was friendly, professional and everything you could wish for. The
A hidden gem in West Kensington - absolutely delightful restaurant with great food at reasonable prices. I visited recently with a group of work colleagues for a celebration and the staff were more than accommodating with all of my requests... The owner even helped with the decorations... We were given five star service, food arrived promptly and was delicious... Top quality presentation & overall an amazing evening... You must visit this restaurant - absolutely will not be disappointed!
As someone who thoroughly enjoyed my dining experience, stepping into this Lebanese restaurant felt like a journey to the vibrant streets of Beirut. The authentic cuisine, friendly staff, and cosy atmosphere made every moment enjoyable. If you're craving a taste of Lebanon's rich culinary heritage, this gem of a restaurant is a must-visit!
Just finished lunch here. It was absolutely brilliant. It's a beautiful and inviting dining room and the service is 5 star ...George was just wonderful. The food was all delicious and while it's hard to choose a favourite...the chicken livers and Moussaka Mezza are must haves ... But I don't think you could order something here that you wouldn't truly enjoy. We are coming back to London soon to go the the near by Victoria and Albert... And we will definitely lunch here again!
I don’t usually leave reviews unless exceptional, and Chez Abir really is an exceptional restaurant. I’ve eaten at most of the local Lebanese restaurants over the last 30 years, and also originate from this region of the Middle East myself. I was seriously impressed having gone for first time recently. This is restaurant is by very far the best quality locally. Excellent food, delicious, very large servings and comparatively well priced. Even their take away packing and presentation is excellent. Levantine food offers something for everyone - whether a meat eater, veggie or vegan. By very far the best Lebanese restaurant in Hammersmith / Kensington. I highly recommend heading to Chez Abir.
