Story

Why not cruise the beautiful River Dee in Chester onboard one of our luxury showboats. We offer 1/2 hour or 2 hour cruises during the day both with informative commentary. Our boats are fully stocked and have central heating. For those looking for a venue with a difference why not charter a boat for your party, prices start from £150 per hour for a boat charter with a minimum hire of 3 hours. We also offer fun packed themed nights which are ideal for smaller groups. We think we have a great product and welcome your call. 01244 325394 (Please note our office is open Monday to Friday, 9AM to 5PM. We operate our cruises daily from late March to October, then selected weekends only from November to March. Please see our website for full details).

For what is supposed to be a dog friendly attraction it is not great with dogs. We sat at back down the stairs and couldn't hear commentary at all just the engine and when one of our dogs started barking (not a lot) we were trying to quieten him and over the tannoy came "can you shut your dogs up!" we were obviously trying to do that so how they asked could have been much better.

Very informative guide on boat. Helpful staff assistance with wheelchair access ramps. Hot and cold drinks snacks and a bar. Very easy to find although parking is very limited close by. Very clean covered boat with opening windows for photos. We took the 2 hour trip and we're not disappointed.

Had a lovely time on the river with my children. Staff were friendly and it was great to get out of the hustle and bustle of the city centre for a little while. Paul the captain was great with the children. They enjoyed the adventure. Thank you.

I'm reviewing the 2 hour cruise. Staff were wonderful, very informative, boat clean and quiet, but after you left town the rest of the trip was quite boring until you got to the Ironbridge. You really don't see anything g of the Duke of Winchester estate. If you want a peaceful relaxing boat ride, by all means you will get one. Otherwise, the shorter cruise will get you about 95% of the interesting stuff.

Worth doing as part of the open top bus tour on a reduced price. 30 minutes goes very quickly and you don't actually travel that far.
