Bordered by pretty oak trees, the caravan site is also close to a lovely canal walkway, two pubs, shops and a local swimming pool. Enjoy easy access to a wealth of things to do and see in the city - take in the sights on an open-top bus, wander around The Walls, immerse yourself in history and tradition by seeing the town crier, or delight in an abundance of excellent restaurants and shops. Highly recommend this site. Toilet facilities are unbelievably clean and so well thought out too! Site is well organised. Slight problem with flooding on a couple of pitches but these were marked off clearly so you could avoid those if desired. Added to all the facilities provided was the setting - pretty, quiet, birds/nature, and close to Cheshire Oaks shopping outlet plus close to eateries on foot and plenty of other options by car.
This was the second time we have stayed here. A lovely site, immaculately clean shower block. Perfect site for easy access to the city centre and Cheshire Oaks. We will definitely stay here again. Also has an enclosed area for exercising your dog. A quiet site with other visitors respecting others. Large pitches. A perfect site for you to really enjoy your visit.
Really good, clean and warm facilities. Wonderful, helpful staff. Nothing was too much trouble. Close to Cheshire Oaks, easy walking distance, the aquarium and Chester zoo. Not a great walking area for the dogs though. Lovely pub, Rake Hall, next door. Great ambience and food. Farm shop within easy walking distance and great produce. Concerned about traffic noises before arrival, but needn't have worried. Would definitely stay again.

I've stayed here several times. Staff are always super-friendly and helpful. Shower block is clean and showers are hot.nGreat site and very handy for trips to Liverpool, Manchester and of course Chester.
