Lovely pub. Nice interior and cool soundtrack. Excellent prices at £5 for a lager and £4.20 for the Rift pale ale. Great pizzas from Yardsale pizza too.
Great pub. I tend to forget about it as it's sort of hidden away between Hackney Central and Homerton. However, other people most definitely have not forgotten about it so get there early! Decent beer garden and little terrace as well. Usually a good range of beer.
Lovely dog-friendly pub with pizza options. Roomy outside area in the back meaning it's bigger than it looks from outside just as well as gets very busy!. Covered with heaters in the cold rainy months.
What a great asset to the locality! It is a bit anonymous in a terrace office Victorian properties, but inside it has a warm cosy atmosphere. There is also large garden out the back with plenty of seats, a great place to chat with friends, old and new. Good beer and wine selection too. We will try the pizzas another time as the munu of them looked interesting.
The staff here are positively lovely. Really made us feel welcome, even brought me a beer taster without asking. Psychic beer powers. The pizzas from nearby Yard Sale Pizza seemed to go down a treat with almost everyone I clocked in the big ol beer garden. Look forward to returning
This is quite possibly one of the nicest, lgbt friendly, progressive…. The positive adjectives could keep coming. The staff here are incredibly welcoming, like this is a new life kind of people. The venue offers an emporium of drinks and flavoured crisps. They also allow pizza delivery from a cracking place! To top things off they’re dog friendly through night and day. There isn’t anything bad to say about this place, apart from you can’t live here!?
Lovely pub, could have had the wood burner going on this cold day, but maybe next time! They do however have yard sale pizza delivered, which is a real winner. Really nice atmosphere, perfect for a Sunday drink!
Fair priced pub in a quiet residential street in the coolest area of London. Garden in the back is chilled and not extremely noisy as most in the area. Brews are varied.
Nice local pub tucked away in a quiet street. Good range of beers including several cask beers and ciders. Tie up with a nearby pizza place that let's you order online or by phone and delivers free - highly recommended. Big beer garden out at the back. Pleasant staff.
Lovely building. Shame about the awful attitude of the staff, the worst bar service I have ever experienced. First round of drinks fine, no issues. Went to order a second round. One of the beers was flat. Went back to the bar and was told “it’s supposed to taste that way”. After insisting was given a different drink. Went back to my seat and 5 minutes later the bar staff turned up at the table with the card machine insisting I pay for replacement beer, as I should have “tried the beer first”. Incredibly rude way to treat customers. So many great pubs to choose from nearby why bother when the staff give you attitude like this.
