Delicious cakes and other sweet treats are always available! I got my son’s 1st birthday cake from here & it was a hit ! The owner is beautiful and very kind! The place is very clean the staff is friendly and it smells amazing!
The owners or people that run the shop were great from start of order even though I’d not really an idea when I walked through the door. The cake looked fantastic and after telling them of a specific allergy raspberry’s they changed the cake filling to strawberries. When I picked the cake up it maybe have been my fault with not a name added ,done straight away in shop. Taste and texture of cake spot on,added touches brilliant and being able to put a picture on great. For a special occasion I will use again,my wife loved it and the people who had a slice loved it,you can’t ask for more. Just a touch to a special day,thanks.

The cake that we ordered for my Dad's birthday looked okay, amateurish in design, but was totally inedible. The icing was very thick, there was little jam and the 'cake' was salty and doughy in consistency. A total waste of money. Thankfully we had provided desserts for our guests and was not reliant on the cake as dessert. When my stepmother telephoned to complain, the response she received was not even an apology but was told that if she ordered another cake they would give her a discount!!! This will certainly not be happening and we would not recommend CherryCakes to anyone.
I paid £200 for this cake it tasted dry and stale icing was not nice at all
First time ordering a cake from CherryCakes, I’ve had their buns before and that’s what made me think of them when I needed to order a cake, as I couldn’t get in with ones I’d used before, we will definitely be ordering from them again, we were so happy with the look of the cake and it takes even better, the sponge was lovely and moist, I collected sat morning and didn’t cut it until afternoon the day after, thick icing which is what I love, and full of flavour, all our guests asked where it was from and commented how nice and tasty it was, when I went to collect the cake, the shop is really pretty and professional, the lady who served me was really kind, only downside was not any parking right outside the shop, it’s yellow lines so had to park up the street and walk down, luckily the weather was OK, but they do cover the cake nicely, very happy with our purchase and will recommend to anyone!
CherryCakes did my wedding cake and did an amazing job. Also had other cakes and treats since. Would certainly recommend.
When I first walked in, I was greeted straight away with friendly staff. Bought a piece of cake and a few cupcakes. I've got to be honest, they were beautiful; not just in looks but in taste too. Left the shop happy and pleased. Would strongly recommend cake/cupcakes lovers
Excellent cakes and excellent service by a very knowledgeable owner. Our wedding cake wasn't cheap but you have to pay for quality and we like to do business with people we can talk to and trust. You know you don't have to give your money to millionaires - keep it local people.
Ordered 12 cupcakes for my mother in laws 65th birthday, I'd sent pictures of what I was looking for iced flowered cupcakes and iced westie dogs. On paying my deposit I explained 6 different flower cupcakes and 3 westie dogs please . Picked them up and on looking closely when I'd got them home I'd got 3 maroon cupcakes and 6 cupcakes with silk plastic flowers stuck in them . I was very disappointed to say the least I could have quite easily gone to Tesco's and bought a tray of cupcakes for less then half the price an stuck plastic flowers in myself.When I rang and complained it was the new starters fault apparently no offer of rectifying just an offer of a part refund .very sad to say after seeing all the marvellous cakes they do.
