The only reason for leaving this negative review is because I attempted to contact the company about an issue with plastic bag contamination in the bagels the reason for the negative review is because they have no direct contact email to explain the issue and choose to use an automated computer system through their website to save on money like most companies but ends up having a negative impact for them. Because when you have uploaded your issue and spent the time to explain the problem you receive an automated message saying you need to chase after them with a phone call. A phone call is not necessary when all the images and time I took to explain the problem already explained the problem. So they obviously don't take complaints or issue seriously so I have had no other option but to just upload it as a Google review The issue impacts them Which I tried to help with but as there is no interest I have had to do it this way instead.

I have only just started working here with the agency, hopefully having enough potential for them to notice in time, has I really am enjoying working in this friendly active role. I work on hygiene team shift 4, just wish I had applied a few weeks b4 as 2 positions had just been filled.  !! GUTTED !!

Started working at New York Bakery today. To be honest it's much better than I presumed. My last job at KP Snacks was awful. The place and the management was non stop stress. Much better work environment at NYB. --UPDATE 3 WEEKS WORKING AT NYB-- After working 4 shifts I was offered a position as agency supervisor, which I accepted. I have received training from another shift supervisor and am now ready to supervise agency staff on a different shift. The place is recommended for anyone with production experience within a large factory environment and also to those with no previous experience. The work is varied and relatively easy although some activities can be tedious. Weekly pay for those on agency and the process for agency enrollment is simple. If you're looking for a job at short notice, give it a go. I did and I'm glad I did.

Based ENTIRELY on the TV advert. I was fooled into trying for a second time these SO CALLED "AUTHENTIC" New York style Bagels. Having eaten them over many years over there, it is a Complete  lie to call them Newyork style. They ARE doughy and chewy as it says but they are nothing like the bagels you can buy on the street, let alone from a good bagel bakery, that you know will be good. These UK ones have no tasteother than doughy bread. And if bent, they break in half. There is no tear factor.  I've given them three stars because they Are better than plain white bread. But they are so near it that I felt like giving it ONE STAR. I bought UK bagels in London, they were more like Biallys but at least they had the proper taste and tear factor.  My next try will be in Manchester. I shall NEVER buy this brand again  Greg Rason, Penicuik. Scotland

Bad place to work if your English, there rude and talk in different languages around you, only two 15 mins breack and a 20 mins in 12 hours, plus it takes you 5mins to get in and out of building just a really bad place to work. I told my manager they was being rude and he said when i started no one talked to for 6 moths and about them using their language i cant stand up ageist all them as the fatory morgority of the workers are foren even tho its a english based facory by law they should speak english. Its intimidating place to work and no one wants to help you. Never mind the lack of communication of what your doing or whats going off.

Hi I am a taxi driver from rotherham. I was booked by an agency worker who's name is hassan,I arrived on time on my booking.I drove all the way from Rotherham town and waited for this customer only to find out she made me wait and then jumped in a to another car for a lift without letting our office know.I lost out time and money.  It is disgusting how they let this dishonest person work there. I have left a note with the security gatehouse for the staff manager  and hope to get a response.Thank you.Dishonesty reflects in the final product.

Just like its terrible ads - not from New York, nothing to do with New York. From Rotherham. Nothing like real bagels.

This is a bread making factory. It does not sell to the general public. I just do contractual work here. Clean efficient factory, not much else I can say that would be of general interest.
