Visited on a busy Sunday afternoon. 15 minute wait. £3.50 for a portion of chips taste and portion size was ok Staff were friendly.
Saturday evening in our house is always a takeaway from Chequers Hillcrest. The food is excellent and the staff are really friendly too.
Always go there if up on North Coast real Cod and super chips well worth the money and civil staff.
Beautiful food, we had a massive order of 12 fish suppers and sides. It was cooked quickly, tasted lovely and lots of dips, condiments and extras were added in.
Absolutely amazing food great portions delightful staff
Had chips and a curry dip from here, the chips were probably the worst I've ever had, obviously reheats and inedible, went to the nearest bin, simply not good enough considering the prices chip shops charge these days. Won't be back.
I cannot eat these chips. taste and smell of beef drippings won't ever be back and can't recommend
Highly recommend Chequers Hillcrest Portrush. Good food and friendly staff
Zinger fillet burger was something similar out of Iceland was 100 processed Friendly staff
Literally the worst Hawaiian burger I ever had completely dry no sauce. Chips were ok but asked for just salt and got chips drenched in vinegar. Couldn't even dip them in the burger sauce to compensate.
