Great nautical decor with wooden ships and lighthouses galore. We got the special haddock and chips was delicious. kids got sausage and chips. Nice friendly staff and large portions.
Had the two specials today. Food was very nice. Just shocked when the bill came and saw I was charged £3.60 for a glass of coke, which might I add was flat. I did query this, and was told all soft drinks are that price!!!! Think they need to start putting prices on the drinks menu. At least people can see exactly what they are charging. Would go back for the food. Certainly won’t have a drink, soft or otherwise.
The Spinnaker has been a mainstay on Portrush's main street for many years, but it was a while since we had been there - and we were very glad that we returned. We were there at a fairly quiet lunchtime and the staff were attentive but not smothering. The food was excellent, although perhaps a little on the conventional side - don't expect all the bells and whistles of the fancier places. What you get here is good food, well cooked and with a range of choices that should suit almost all diners. The dining room has a nautical theme which gives you plenty to look at, but which doesn't intrude on the dining experience. Our party tried a range of starters and mains ranging from burgers to salads, with no complaints at all. Prices are entirely reasonable and we would recommend giving The Spinnaker a try - you may well find that you like it better than some of the places with bigger reputations - and prices!
Nice enough place was clean and staff friendly but food wasn't great... I ordered the chicken with peppered sauce it came out and thought what even is that looked more like a pork chop it didnt taste like chicken, couldn't eat it, its bad when it comes with a steak knife to cut chicken. the sauce was very watery also. I definitely wouldn't go back. Over priced for what was put in front of us.
Absolutely terrible. My steak tasted like a dirty pan, I ate one piece, only thing nice was coleslaw. Garlic potatoes tasted of fish. When told waitress I didn't like it she just out her head down and walked away. Customer service has alot to be desired
Food was delicious. Service was fast and friendly. Great boat themed restaurant. Tables with views of the main strip. Prices slightly above average.
Food was lovely, the haddock special was definitely worth the money and tasted absolutely delicious! The staff were kind and courteous. Would definitely go again thank you!
Been several times now and food and service has always been great, when there last week a young blonde girl waitress was probably the most pleasant waitress I've ever seen. Keep up the good work
Went here yesterday with 5 others and everyone said it was a great feed ... staff were friendly and food was very nice lovely decor and we will definitely be back .. we had read previous reviews and I have to say we were nearly put off going but I am very happy we decided to go as we seen the reviews really do no not describe the place well great feed and we definitely recommend if your looking a big feed
Had dinner here yesterday evening it was a lovely meal everyone thoroughly enjoyed it. Will definitely be back the staff were all friendly and helpful would recommend it to anyone.
