An absolutely irresistible treat of a book shop - local, independent, with extremely friendly, knowledgeable staff. Love to wander in on a weekend and walk out with something thought-provoking that I hadn't planned to buy but never regret.

This is a very special bookshop in the area since 1978, so precious! The customer service is excellent and every time I enter the shop I get a fuzzy warmth as I can smell the pages in the air.    Amazon eat your heart out!

A lovely bookshop with great kids section

A little oasis of calm on busy Lordship Lane. Packed to the rafters and full of all sorts of different books. Very well organised and generally just a lovely place to spend some of your Sunday afternoon.

A rare gem, a lovely local bookshop with a 40 year history 2018 and still going strong. The poetry selection is particularly strong. There are thousands of expertly chosen books here and if they don't have it, it can be order for the next day.

The lady there is awesome, super sweet and knows so much.  My type of bookshop. highly reccommend.
