Charter Medical has improved significantly in recent years. I consistently feel listened to and taken seriously by both the GPs and nursing staff. The team shows genuine care and professionalism, and they work hard to provide the best possible service. Their support during a particularly challenging period made a meaningful difference to my wellbeing and ability to stay on track professionally. I am very grateful for the standard of care I have received.
I have generally been very impressed with the service I receive at Charter. I always use the online request service for which the triage seems very competent: Urgent requests are handled quickly and the less important are dealt with in a reasonable time frame. The administrative staff seem very efficient and responsive. I have also noted that they will be proactive in referring what was an administrative query to the medical team if they think it necessary. Upon attending the surgery I have always found the reception staff friendly. Areas for improvement: Sometimes the availability of appointments is not so great. Conducting conversations via text and repeated questionnaire when a single phone call would seem more efficient and humane.
nnCharter Medical Centre in Hove is an exceptionally well-run practice. The reception staff are welcoming, kind and helpful.nnThe clinical care here is excellent — warm, thoughtful and person-centred. The surgery is managed with impressive efficiency and professionalism, while still maintaining a human touch.
I have been with Charter Medical for three nearly four years now, and have always been satisfied with them. The reception team is friendly, all doctors and nurses have been friendly and understanding with whatever concerns I've had. I find their services easy to access via the app, which makes my life as someone who works long hours with unpredictable breaks a lot easier, so of that I am very appreciative!!nnIn particular, I am grateful to Lorna Russell. I don't believe she works there anymore but hopefully someone who still does can pass the feedback on. She was responsible for my annual reviews, and helped me on a path to diagnosis and treatment which has since really changed my life. I have never been so well in myself, and I am thankful to Lorna for listening to me and taking me seriously.
