A friend recommended Charles Orlebar to us stating she would never use anyone else. So, despite them, by their own admission, not being the cheapest, we decided to give them a try. So glad we did ..no pushy sales talk. Just honest, efficient, decent service. So I would also now say “don’t use anyone else” Liz and George were a pleasure to deal with
I had the pleasure of George & Liz helping with a recent house purchase and if I were to re market in the future I wouldn’t hesitate to list with them. My experience was as a buyer and while Not working for me directly, the team really excelled in following up issues elsewhere in my chain that were beyond their control to give me regular updates. They really didn’t have to do this, but it was the personal touch that really made the difference. When moving home can be one of the most stressful experiences in life I am really thankful for all their help and support throughout
Rather poor service. I am selling a beautiful 2 beds appartement in Higham Ferrers. I decided to use two estate agents to sale the property. However, Charles Orlebar is rather arrogant in thinking only they should sale the property as “it makes me look desperate”. How offensive and unprofessional on their part. I am most concerned about their lack of openness and honesty - they knew I had contacted other estate agents. They in fact visited the property at the time as another local estate agent. Maybe they could have been clearer about this matter before visiting the property. I do not believe they are more qualified then any other estate agent in the region. However, I am a little concerned by the lack of transparency. Highly recommended if you want to waste your time.
Instead of them trying to sell you a service, the tenant has to sell themselves to have the pleasure of giving them thousands of pounds a month. They make you send over loads of documents and have an interview. Then when you think it's all done they reject you because apparently the landlord likes the look of another tenant more. Waste of my time. I hate that they make you compete against other people to give them money!
Wonderful service from the team at Charles Orlebar who create great informative ads for the homes they put on sale, including realistic photos and videos. Service right through from viewing to completion was proactive, efficient, compassionate and friendly. A Huge thank you to George who saw the purchase through from start to finish and Liz who facilitated multiple viewings. I would highly recommend!
Would absolutely recommend Charles Orlebar to anyone. We had the wonderful Liz and George deal with our house sale and the whole thing went swimmingly. The photography and video done by George were absolutely immaculately presented and made the house look so nice I didn't want to sell it!! Liz kept us up to date regularly and has a lovely warm manner and professional approach to selling houses, you don't just feel like another client on the books. I had confidence in Liz and George from day one and they didn't let me down. Would definitely use again. 5
We are so grateful to Charles Orlebar Estate Agents for making our move possible. Liz provided an excellent service, dealing with both our sale and purchase. It’s fair to say, we had a long and complicated chain which Liz and the team dealt with effectively and efficiently. In the most stressful of circumstances, Liz remained calm, supportive and informative throughout. She really did earn her claim of being the best agent in the area! A true friendship was made during the sale of our home! From the first visit to value our home to handing over the keys on day of completion nothing was too much trouble. George was proactive during the sale of our home offering advice and support, he was at all times professional and made us feel truly valued. From the pictures taken to advertise our home through to the continued updates relating to viewings, George talked us through the process and made it a real partnership.
