Greeted well upon arrival with happy smiling faces. Our room unfortunately had no hot water, and we had to move to another, smaller room without the luxuries we had in the booked room. The GM at The Manor gave us a discount, complimentary bubbly, G&T and looked after us. Great experience

The hot tub suit was just perfect, with champagne and chocolates on reception too. The evening under the winter stars and moon light was magical. The hotel is full of character, the restaurant serves delightful foods. Breakfast was a little meager, but enjoyable nonetheless. The staff were very friendly. Our room was let down by water damage, faulty fixtures and a central heating failure, but I met with the manager and he was very helpful in getting thing sorted. I would still highly recommend this venue, I imagine the summer would be just as lovely as the winter too.

I come here on a regular basis but have never eaten here, only used the SPA facilities. They have a medium sized relaxing pool - there is enough space to swim laps but it is not necessarily the place to do so. With a steam room and sauna you can sit back and relax. They do not have a jacuzzi. They have two beds inside and a cold water dispenser. During the summer they open the balcony doors and put out more beds to lay on. They have floats & many toys for children to play with - this is upon request as they get it out of the cupboard. The changing facilities are very basic and could use some updates. It is £10 to swim - you must also hand in your car keys. This has NO time limit on it. The staff are lovely and very kind.

Very good Sunday lunch. Reasonable prices. Helicopter friendly.
