The onsite cafe/restaurant at Wax Lyrical is very good. We each had excellent beef baguette and turkey baguette from the specials board. Each £8.50. Good sized teapot of tea for two at £3.60. Both the baguettes were served with chips gravy and rather oddly salad garnish. The place was frantically busy. Hence tables were at a premium and the staff had problems keeping the tables cleared. Would go again though.

Food is delicious, service is quick, staff are friendly and helpful. We've been visiting for many years, as a couple and then when we had our son, now 12. It's always been welcoming from when he was a baby to the present day.

We waited 40 minutes for a sandwich. There was plenty of staff, all looking very busy, but apparently not doing a great deal. The children's afternoon teas were good, but the adults ones were a little disappointing - no side salad with a sandwich?!? And yet the children did get a side salad.

Just been to chandlers nice food small plates which meant food spilling over. Cappuccino was not the best by a long way. Overall a nice place to visit.
