Champagne Charlies
"Tucked away beneath the arches of Charing Cross, Champagne Charlies has become a popular local institution for wining, dining and entertaining. The wood panelling, exposed brick, intimate alcoves and candlelit tables make for a cosy atmosphere, whilst our friendly and attentive team ensure exceptional service for all. With an extensive cellar and interesting selection of craft beers and spirits, there is plenty to explore on the drinks list. Port is decanted and Davy’s famous Old Wallop real ale is served in pewter tankards or half gallon copper jugs. Relax and enjoy classic British food from the bar and dining room menus, all made with seasonal ingredients sourced from our trusted suppliers."

Lovely place to spend a night. I visited for a company dinner and we all had a great time. Definitely a great variety of wines. The food was nice and well prepared but nothing exciting. Their strong point is definitely the drinks department. The premises are really interesting. Really nice atmosphere. Will need to go back with less people to have a better experience of the service.
Love Champagne Charlie's...Great location between Embankment and Charring Cross. Can always get a table even on busy nights or weekend. Great relaxed atmosphere and variety of drinks. Can't comment on food as never eaten there but it looked lovely at Christmas with all the decorations-A real gemFood: 5/5
What a stunning place, a cellar bar located in "The Arches" beneath Charring Cross Station. Blighted by the Covid episode with a distinct lack of visitors an the office crowd. Nevertheless, a brilliant welcome and a most appreciated pint of beer. The place is something of a labyrinth with brilliant "Crooks and Nannies" everywhere. If you want a place for a meeting, you can book private office space, fantastic! An amazing place, do not miss out!
Wholesome hearty meal here for lunch today. What the venue lacked in atmosphere was made up for in the wonderful food and great service.
A great wine bar , not tried the food but good wine , lovely service. A little hidden gemService: 5/5
Awesome place, lovely atmosphere, super friendly staff!! Justin was brilliant and gave us a 5* service. Highly recommended!!Food: 5/5
Great bar, in a great location. Just went for drinks after a matinee theatre trip. Unable to comment on food, but looked delicious.Service: 5/5
We had our family Christmas dinner here and were looked after by 2 lovely staff who were very friendly, welcoming and polite. The food was good, Turkey was lovely, not dry at all like some that you get from other restaurants. The Christmas menu option overall is great and there is something for everyone. We had a room sectioned to our group which just adds a special touch, very cosy and beautiful. Love the interior. This was actually the second/third visit from some of us and our return was due to good service that comes with good food and drinks. So I highly recommend. Thank you.
Good beers, cosy environment and in the heart of London. Friendly helpful staff. Unfortunately a lot of the draft beers were not on tonight.
Very good food and a decent selection of beer. The staff were friendly and the atmosphere was chilled out and relaxed the only thing I would complain a little about is the price of the food which was a touch on the pricey side. The beer was cheap though. All in all a very good place that I would recommend
