We ate at the Rudyard Kipling Dining Room above the pub and it was fantastic. There were plenty of pub food classics to choose from and a couple of unique options as well, like the Nourish Bowl I got grilled and chicken added to mine and it was delicious!. Classic beers on tap and plenty of other beverages to choose from. The desserts were amazing as well...the Sticky Toffee pudding was worth every calorie. There's nothing like the cozy atmosphere of a British pub and the ambiance of this one didn't disappoint. Service was friendly. Prices were reasonable. And the food and drink was perfect. Highly recommend!
We recently were on holiday and stumbled across this amazing pub. Right down the street from our hotel it was easy to get to, great food, and amazing British pints. Tim was awesome and we went back the second night to get a BEER mug. Thanks for the amazing hospitality!!!
A welcomed stop during a long day of walking. The pints were cold and the food was warm and very tasty. Enjoyed people watching and the bar atmosphere while we were there. It was a little busy but got a great booth by the window. I am glad we stopped by.
Awesome pub food. I love the English tradition of having a dining room separate from the pub. Especially good when travelling with children. Our son was all over the Princess's mac'n'cheese with bacon.
Excellent location next to Charing Cross and Embankment stations. A ‘proper’ pub vibe downstairs and quieter dining area upstairs. Upstairs also has TV’s which was handy when I booked with a group to watch a football game. The fish and chips were great too!
I had chorizo pie at the recommendation of a native. It's amazing place for traditional English food. The pub has a very classic vibe to it and i highly recommend it to tourist to check it out
Amazing meat pie! Great spot for a beer and a hang out in the air conditioning. Will definitely come again.
This little gem is amazing. Having walked past it on Hundreds of occasions, I ventured in and had an amazing meal, drink and jolly great catch up with a bunch of friends. The staff were remarkably cheery, food amazingly plentiful and atmosphere friendly. Definitely recommend..... If it's not some kind of mirage....
My family and I had a meal with a view of a TV screen for the recent caraboa cup final. Whilst the venue was unable to give us the result we wanted, the food and hospitality was second to none. The staff were very welcoming and nothing was to much trouble. I look forward to my next visit to London as I won't hesitate in having food there again. Thank you very much.
Had nice steak and ale pie. Had Pint Guinness, would have liked it to be room temp but thats personal preference. Quiet in the upstairs dining area which was nice.
