More expensive than other Cex shops for some reason, and things that are sold in packs online and elsewhere are sold individually at full pack price. Strange. Very awkward and unhelpful staff.

Absolutely disgusting service! Bought a iPhone 4s in Feb from them for £75 tried to take it back 1 day later and they tell me they'd only give me £37. Took it back today as it's been sitting in my bedroom unused and they told me it's water damaged! Must have been when they sold me it. As insult to injury I had to go back and ask for my charger which they never returner with my phone. They gave me a charger though it ain't mine. Tried to pull a fast one I think. Appalled at such poor service!

CeX have a very sneaky strategy when it comes to them buying your phone. They tell you they'll give you a very high price for it to get your hopes up and then bring it right down after they've had a look through it. I have an iPhone 6 Plus, I went to the Apple Store to get the iPhone 7 plus and asked if I could trade in the 6 plus, they said yes for £120 but advised me to go to CeX first because they usually hold better prices. So I went and the woman inspected the phone and said that depending on how the phone runs, they'd give around £170 for it, she told me to come back in 30 minutes once they inspected how the phone runs, (she had already looked for any marks, bumps, scratches, etc.) I came back and she said that because of a tiny dent (this was a tiny dent in the top left of the phone, I should've took a photo of it before selling it but unfortunately I didn't, this dent was so small you could hardly feel it and it didn't affect the rest of the phone, no parts of the phone were coming away), because of the dent they would have to get the screen replaced otherwise the screen would pop out eventually, so they offered £80! LOL £90 off the original price! I took it back to the Apple Store and they basically said that it was a load of rubbish and they'll give me £120 (they strip the phone down for parts, they don't resell them). So a word of advice when selling an Apple product: GO TO THE APPLE STORE FIRST, they give good prices because they strip the devices down for parts.

Slow service but well priced dvds are a pro. Tech and games are a bit pricey though. Best value on trade ins I've seen anywhere.

Incredibly slow service, trying to get any member of staff's attention without queuing as if you're going to buy something is next to impossible. Prices are obviously awful as most people know, much quicker and easier to use eBay and end up with more of the money anyway.
