I've used various CeX for years and I'm not even joking when I say that they've gone ridiculously pricey, so much so that you're actually way better off buying brand new gadgets from other retailers than from them. Staff got attitudes too like they're doing you a favour, or you're disturbing them for asking questions. I experienced this 3 times now, so got nothing to do with the busy Christmas period.
Jokers and literal rip off merchants that I'm going to report to trading standards. Accidentally overcharged me for second hand games in store. Only a few quid but obviously I wanted it refunded when I pointed out their mistake. They refused to do it, or even to refund me in full because the manager was out, and couldn't tell me when he was going to be back. Couldn't just you know, give me back what I'd been over charged like normal humans. In the end I had to swallow being ripped off because I couldn't wait around all day indefinitely on the off chance the manager decided to show his face. Thought Beadle was going to jump out.
Always love a nice browse for games. This is my local and always has a great selection of media. I think their prices have gone up/aren't as reduced as they were as there were some games still over 30 that are atleast 2 years old... I know their prices fluctuate based on stock levels but clearly a sign of the times for physical media which is a real shame as it's my preferred way of buying
Made a order online on the 22nd for trials of mana switch and said it was from this store. Still not received the item was given a tracking number that does not work. Not happy spoke to customer service with very little support
I used this store to sell a few HUAWEI products I purchased in the past. All were in very good condition as hardly used. Oliver helped me set up an account for me and walked me through the grading and value of the items. Not bad service just what was needed
Don't bother buy a watch from there! They won't even let you touch it? Let alone wear it? Because of covid rules! ridiculous! People can try on clothes nowadays CEX need updating??
Friendly service from this store when travelling from the other side of London to purchase an item that I required before the bank holiday weekend, easy transaction and store was not too busy. Also a plus that they have so many items compared to my local.
Any good games, especially the ones for kids are super expensive. All in all a good place if you want to buy pre-owned games.
The selection of goods here as amazing. Made a purchase/ inquiry here a few days ago now and I was very satisfied with the whole experience. All of the stock is very thoughtfully laid out and arranged in alphabetical order, it's quite easy to find what your looking for. If you can't find it, as was my case, all you need to do is ask the staff. They go above and beyond to get you the information you need and are very respectful and reasonable. They directed me to the exact branch were my item could be found, it was very easy and quick.
They have games for a big range of consoles and pc, dvds. All with a good price
