Beat chippy in Hul. Fish was massive and so meaty and full of flavour. Not watery like some places. The chips also spot on. Can see why it has won taste award 2 years running

Never fails to impress.
Used cave Street fisheries when I was a kid way back in the fifties, and it's still great fish and chips. Chips are browned off, not like the anemic offerings in most fish shops.
Very helpful staff always courteous and the best tasting fish and chips I have tried in Hull. Recommend by a friend and will use again.
Called in on a day trip, was not disappointed! Staff were very friendly and generously treated us to some Patties on the house as we weren't local they're a local staple and delicious!. Food was top notch Fish Special, don't miss out on this local gem, you won't regret it!

As good as it gets, I ordered a large fish and was not surprised by the huge portion presented to me and the batter with salt and vinegar generously sprinkled was perfect a must visit location .
