My partner ordered prawns and they wasn't even cleaned out properly still had stuff in them. I got curry sauce and rice which was lovely but won't be ordering again. Price you pay to get unclean food is a joke!
Possibly the worst Chinese I have ever had . Ordered beef satay with no veg . Came full of veg. And the beef was like a leather shoe . My jaw hurt it was that chewey . The best part of the meal was gravy and chips . That's how bad it was. Also spent 20 + pounds and no prawn crackers . Dreadful first and last time i order from lucky Star
The worst Kung Po I've ever tasted. Absolutely vile. The "sauce!" Was like dishwater. No chilli or heat. Putting garden peas in is nasty and cheap... especially when you're paying a tenner for the dish. The prawn crackers were overcooked and greasy. Avoid mucky star. Absolutely awful

You wanna thank your lucky stars that I had no other option to add one star and that goes to the delivery guy for bringing the food as quickly as he did. Now I know why it came so quick, it’s because all your food is reheated and tastes as if it’s been cooked weeks ago. I don’t understand how you can cook the food you do and think it looks appealing, my dog even turned his nose up at it. It was the most blandest chinese I have ever had. The salt and pepper box was a box full of dried overcooked meat, the rice had never seen egg fried rice, don’t even get me started on the chips, I’ve never lifted a chip and it literally fold in half with sogginess. How you can call that crispy shredded beef it was literally batter and oil. Never will I order from here again and if the inside of the shop is as bad as what the outside looks me and my boyfriend will be needing the toilet a lot tomorrow. Disgusting .
Amazing family owned takeaway they're always welcoming and never had issues with the food. Everything is hot and good value for money been using for 10+ years
Good value, very nice food, my favourite take away for the last 20 years. I can highly recommend the mixed meat curry and chips, a speciality and my personal favourite. Sometimes I eat in, other times I'll order, deliverythough can be over an hour!!
Do not order from Lucky Star the food never turned up and there staff are a joke. If I could give -5 stars then it wouldn't still reflect their poor service, completely stay away and order elsewhere
It's ok but nothing special. Chicken balls have a mc nugget amount of chicken on them.
Nostalgia, this place was my first takeaway as a kid never changes its lovely. Delivers immediately arrives before you finish ordering haha always piping hot then again it is top of the next street
