Welcome to Castlegate Lights, your online lighting superstore bringing you high quality lighting at discounted prices.

We have been in business for over 30 years and we stock a large range of light fittings, from crystal chandeliers, ultra modern, Tiffany lighting, bathroom fittings, traditional lighting, in fact, just about every style of light fitting to suit your home inside and outside.
Endon, Dar, Searchlight, Kontsmide, Bell, Quality Lighting, Loxton Lighting, Interiors 1900, Impex, Firstlight, Elstead, Franklite, Eglo are just some of the lighting companies we deal with.

Our showroom is situated on the outskirts of Stokesley at Unit 28 Terry Dicken Industrial Estate, Station Road, Stokesley so send us a message or give us a call on 01642 714444 (9.00-5.00) Monday to Friday, and Saturday 10.00am - 1.00pm where our staff will be very happy to assist.

SCAM - DO NOT ORDER. One item still not been sent out after 10 days with no communication so I cancelled. They refused to refund another item because the polystyrene packaging was damaged. How are you supposed to get the item out of the box without damaging the packaging. I can see other customers have similar compliants. This is not a legitimate company. Save yourself time and hassle and order from somewhere else.
I paid over the phone with a very friendly agent as I specifically didn't want Evri delivering so they swapped for APC. Arrived after 4 days no problem. Highly recommend.
The best light company Competitive price, easy to order, quick delivery, products well protected, arrived in immaculate condition. Found the bedside table lamps on Wayfair first, then a quick price check showed Castlegate selling the same thing 20% cheaper. It's my first order and totally impressed. Service and quality are on par with John Lewis, with Dunelm's price. Will look at their website first next time shopping for lights.
Great products and after-sales - got a beautiful solid brass standing lamp not just coated like many other places and there was absolutely no hassle with an issue later on. Would highly recommend.
Ordered Lights for a client and told them we needed by a set date, no problem they said, still waiting and the customer going crazy, despite having paid for them. Every time we chase we are told they will be with us today and to you tomorrow, then the next day, then the next, and the next ..........NEVER AGAIN !
I returned light packed it with blow up bubble wrap top bottom front sides underneath as I got it. It wasn't even finger print on it , returned it nearest DHL shop which told me not sure where store it as large light box. My advice ever return item take a photo of it and one when wrapped too as I've just been told scratches on the base which had to happen from the shop to them. Now no refund
Ordered Dar aurelia pendant light and bulbs. When I called to get delivery date the customer service was perfect - quick, friendly and they offered to split the order so builders could fit it without waiting for the bulb stock to come in first. When I had a follow up query I used the form and got reply first thing the next day, all at a very reasonable price. Well done Castlegate team.
Having waited MONTHS for a light fitting to arrive as part of a large order for various lights received fairly promptly once I contacted the company about non-receipt, I recently received an 'update to order' email and a separate one telling me that my lights were dispatched and to expect delivery information from the courier. I almost screamed in joy that my final light was about to arrive. But silence followed, so after a few days I re-read the two emails and noticed that the 'update to order' one had an attachment showing the original invoice. This invoice consisted of 2 pages, with the first page showing all the lights purchased and the total paid. By chance, I scrolled to the second page and that's where I found a NOTE saying that the back-order light had been discontinued and a refund processed. I checked my credit card statement and indeed saw the refund had been processed a few days earlier. To conclude, yes, I'm relieved that I didn't have to chase a refund. But the company had my money for ages and should have had the courtesy to call me with this update, or offer an apology, or - I dare say - provide a discount voucher towards future purchases, as a token gesture for making me wait so long for nothing. The lack of telephone contact and very poor plus contradictory communications have left me unwilling to use Castlegate Lights ever again. UPDATE Even more annoyed having read Castlegatelights' reply on Trustpilot blaming the supplier and with NO APOLOGY : They seem to not have read my review at all, nor have they bothered to address the issues of INADEQUATE STOCKS, taking payments freely 25th October, KEEPING MONEY FOR MONTHS whilst "waiting for stock", then not having the decency to contact the customer with a CLEAR email or phone call to explain the situation. AND WHY ON EARTH DID I RECEIVE 22nd December AN EMAIL TELLING ME THE LIGHT HAD BEEN DISPATCHED, THEN ANOTHER IMMEDIATELY AFTER same date, TELLING ME THE ORDER HAD BEEN UPDATED???? What a load of MISLEADING nonsense! I couldn't care less about suppliers not keeping the seller informed: it is THE SELLER's responsibility to check items will be available BEFORE taking customers money, or at the very least to chase their suppliers every week until stock is received, and to keep the customer up to date, who has after all PAID LARGE SUMS UP FRONT. All I can say is that castlegatelights have lost out on my next chandeliers purchase, which would have totalled over £4,800. I urge anyone thinking of ordering from castlegatelights to read the other 1* reviews on Trustpilot about stock levels and long delays. Stay away!
Sold and paid for a lamp showing in stock on their web. Waited a whole week to be told it was out of stock. Not impressed...
