"All of our tuning is done in house, we are more than happy to talk you through your map live and demonstrate what we have altered in our remapping software. Unlike some of our competitors like to claim, we do not simply “Work out of a suitcase”. Whilst some tuning companies will download your original file, email it to a tuning house who will modify the file and flash it back into the car, at Big Fish, we ensure your car has a truly customised map inside it whilst offering true value for money.We do not use generic or off-the- shelf maps, the map in your car will be unique and customised to your own car and if they are fitted the supporting modifications."

Big fish are not the cheapest, or the most expensive .. they are by far the *best* for your vehicle. Truly professional work and service, from first enquiry to the finished result. Ive had a few in with BF over the years and never had a spot of bother with any of them. They take time to listen and understand your requirements and ensure you receive the right result For custom coding, i simply wont gamble on anywhere else. This team sure do know their stuff. Had my BMW 428I in for a remap and gearbox remapping. From start to finish can't fault Pip and her team outstanding knowledge and professional approach to everything. A pleasure to do business with. Also car drives so much smoother and so quicker shifts too. Thanks Pip and guy.

Had my Golf GTD tuned by these guys and I can safely say I wouldn't hesitate in using them again! I dealt with Pip from start to finish who was fantastic, good sign from the start when I write an essay in an email asking various questions and her response is twice as long! The car had a few minor issues following the remap but again they were fantastic taking the problem on as their own instead of shying away. Car was booked back in and when I got it back the difference was night and day. Total transparency and always happy to answer the barrage of questions I had. Will definitely use them again in future.
Made another appointment to get benefit from the wealth of experience these guys have. Just had new engine fitted to our campervan. Main Dealer were clueless when I asked about a new engine software check and update. The team at BFT identified the newer software, coded the injectors properly and adjusted the turbo actuator to ensure the engine was running perfect. Excellent work as always. BFT were recommended to me and they lived up to the hype! I am thrilled with the difference in my GTD Golf! It runs sooooo much smoother and while it was always fun to drive it's now even better, my other half was blown away with the improvements and he doesn't drive it as much so it was much more noticeable. I already had a 'tune' on the car but it was dumping fuel and potentially damaging the engine which Pip explained and while I didn't get what 'can normally be achieved' with my specific model I really appreciated you guys not pushing the car to get extra gains when it could have risked the integrity of the engine. Top service, top price, top result. Other half now considering having S3 done. Big thanks to the team for an excellent job!
I took my BMW 330D xdrive down to these guys last week following a bad experience at a firm close by. John & Pip are extremely friendly, helpful and professional. My car was fully checked over and diagnostic checked to make sure it was healthy before they proceeded. In the end I gained 70bhp & 140nm!!! The car drives absolutely perfectly with no issues whatsoever and I've noticed an improvement in fuel economy. You can't argue with that. Highly recommended, and at a great price.
Highly recommended, very professional, amazing people, they take the time to listen and understand what you need and do their best to make you happy. Regarding performance car feels a lot faster, agile and lag was reduced considerable so plenty of reasons to do it, and for the price I feel its a fair deal. Travelled from Coventry to do a remap stage 1 only because of the online reviews, so that's the reason I'm leaving this onenot use to write reviews myself but this one is totally worth it. So yes, keep doing what you're doing guys. Ionut C
I had my old car mapped here and 6 years later its still going strong as reliable as ever. So today I took advantage of a short notice appointment to get my new car mapped... The visit started with a very clear conversation about what I was hoping to get out of the session, mainly looking to give a boring family car a bit more driveablility without compromising reliability and they definitely delivered on that. Having just driven 20 miles home and giving it a bit of a kicking its a totally different car! The power pick up is pretty much instant and the DSG gearbox feels so much sharper. The upshifts match the power delivery perfectly and when it needs to drop a gear or 2 to overtake there's less hesitation. Very happy customer you have definitely secured my repeat business. Highly recommend, thanks again!
I drove down from Glasgow after hearing how good the company were from numerous sources. They were running a deal for the month of August but allowed me to book it in for October due to shifts. I attended and was met by Pipa who was extremely hospitable and welcoming. The tuning process itself was done very quickly and I am so happy with the result - my 330d xdrive feels like a brand new car. I will definitely be recommending to all my friends and for any future maps it will be my garage of choice.
