Homely large pub with a nice historic feel. The staff and owners are very friendly and the variety of the food and drink on offer is good for a reasonable price. Family and dog friendly with a large beer garden and a car park next door. Could do with a little money spent on upkeep of the premesis but overall a lovely quaint spot for a meal or drinks.

Really friendly hosts, nice clean comfie rooms with a nice full English. Couldn't have asked for anything more. 3 star hotel with 5 star service.

Fabulous place. The friendliest welcome, great value splendid food, and spotless rooms. We loved it and will definitely return. You really should try it!

On arriving the staff were very pleasant and accommodating. Friendly and warm atmosphere . The room was upgraded to a bigger one and very clean and cosy. The food is unbelievable and huge portions and very tasty. Would highly recommend and we will be returning in the future.
