We recently spent a romantic weekend at The Castle Hotel in Conwy, Wales, and it was absolutely fantastic from start to finish. The parking was easy and convenient, and the staff could not have been more welcoming or helpful throughout our stay.nnDinner and breakfast were both exceptional – the quality of the food and the atmosphere made for a truly memorable dining experience. But the highlight of our stay was our magical room. It was beautifully decorated, full of character, and incredibly romantic. We even discovered a secret snug room hidden behind a wardrobe – a delightful and whimsical surprise that made our stay all the more special.nnWe’re already planning to return for a Christmas visit, as we can’t wait to experience the charm of The Castle Hotel again. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a unique and romantic getaway!
Excellent breakfast with lovely scrambled eggs. Great location near to all shops and pubs. Good sized bedroom and bathroom. Very dog friendly. Very old historic building. Conwy is a lovely town full of independent businesses.
Old hotel in the centre of Conwy. Lovely staff, public areas old, in keeping with the age of the building, rooms are really modern and nicely decorated. The linens were spotless but the room was dusty and not as clean as I would like toothpaste on the vanity mirror, floor dusty enough to mark black clothes. The parking is plentiful but challenging.
We stayed over at Castle hotel for my Father's 90th birthday and had a lovely stay. The greeting at reception was warm and friendly and nothing was too much trouble. We had evening meal in the bar and the waiting on staff were very attentive and made it a memorable evening for my father's birthday. They sang happy birthday and did a 90th birthday chocolate decoration a lovely surprise. The rooms were spacious and had everything you would need. The cooked breakfast was delicious and plenty of choice for cereals etc. I would definitely recommend this hotel in the heart of Conwy with good parking facilities.
My recent stay at The Castle Hotel, Conwy, was nothing short of a dream come true. Located within the historic walls of Conwy, the hotel’s charm and character instantly made me feel as though I had stepped into a fairytale. With stunning views of Conwy Castle from my room, the blend of history and beauty was truly magical.nnI stayed in Room 117, a Junior Suite that perfectly combined modern luxury with the building’s timeless charm. The room featured all the amenities you’d expect in 2024, while maintaining a classic elegance. The large bath in the bedroom added a touch of indulgence and sophistication, yet was also very practical. The attention to detail was exceptional—branded ducks by the bath, a coffee machine for a perfect cup, and soft classical music playing from a vintage-style radio. It all created a wonderfully relaxing and enjoyable atmosphere.nnThe hotel’s bar, with its roaring log fire, was warm and inviting. The staff were not only friendly but also entertaining, making for a delightful experience. The food served in the bar was delicious, reasonably priced, and arrived promptly—a perfect place to unwind after a day of exploring.nnBreakfast in the main restaurant was another highlight. With a cooked breakfast made to order from an excellent menu offering something for everyone, the quality was exceptional. I particularly enjoyed the Spanish Eggs, which were full of flavour and beautifully prepared.nnI truly cannot wait to return to The Castle Hotel. From the historic charm and stunning views to the excellent service and thoughtful touches, everything about my stay was exceptional. For anyone looking for a magical experience in the heart of Conwy, this is the place to be.
