Recently had a three night stay, Sunday through Tuesday night in this dog friendly establishment.nImpressive looking frontage, thankfully still mostly traditional interior but tables in the bar are awful.nGood private parking.nStaff on the whole were great, apart from Monday breakfast.nOur room was good, although it had a noticeable damp odour, and overlooked the front street. We had a strange experience whilst laid in bed Sunday evening when the radio suddenly sprung into life and began blasting out hymns of it's own accord!nDrinks were decent and reasonably priced.nPlenty of choice at breakfast and good quality, although the coffee was virtually undrinkable.nWe just stopped for dinner on one occasion and whilst the risotto was quite tasty it lacked in quantity. The hanging kebab was strangely served without a dripping sauce, and again lacked quantity as did the desert albeit tasty.
Great classic hotel centrally located in Conwy with good parking facilities. Our room/suite was lovely and clean, and we both had a good night's sleep and a view of the castle. The hotel overall is querky with the decor which we love very different and classical which makes it Individual. We ate in the restaurant food was good but our steaks were on the tough side. Would definitely recommend.
I stayed at this hotel with my Dad and both of us loved it. It's a beautiful place, lovely staff, exceptional rooms, delicious breakfast - the only thing to be aware of is how large your car is if you're trying to get it into the car park! I have very fond memories of the hotel and look forward to staying there again in the future.
100% fantastic... Really can't wait to visit again. Next time with our dog. As pets really are catered and welcome just as much as us humans..nIt is such a beautiful, clean and friendly place. We have travelled all round the world and can honestly say the staff , food and warmth service we received was outstanding congratulations to such a wonderful hardworking team. From the cleaner's, night staff, bar staff ,reception staff, waiter service, and chief. As you can tell we are just blown away by this fantastic hotel, bar and restaurantnGreat location and stunning rooms.Thank you to all staff. Xxx
Wonderful old-world charm in the heart of Conwy that's full of character and warmth. A classic hotel with attention to detail and welcoming, friendly staff. Very dog friendly; bowl and dog bed awaited us in the room, dogs can go into the bar area also.nWe booked a table to eat in the bar in the evening, and our pup slept fireside and got spoiled by staff and fellow hotel guests as we ate a very tasty meal. Our dog was even offered a sausage at breakfast.nHighly recommend this hotel and hotel bar. Good parking. Some rooms have castle views, also.nVery classy yet cozy hotel.nDog friendly.nGluten Allergy Friendly.nFresh and flavorful menu.
