Called in for a late breakfast, food was fantastic. Very good service. Food came out quickly. Pleasant staff. Would come again definitely.
Found this Cafe, by accident when another place was closed. Well what a find. My husband is a big eater so ordered the Big breakfast thinking it will just about fill him up. But no, we were wrong, not only was it a fantastic amount of food, but it was good quality and cooked well...not greasy. I had the vegetarian breakfast and also wasn't disappointed. Lovely surroundings, good value and friendly staff. What more could you want...
I don't like writing negative reviews, but at the same time I feel I should be honest and recount my experience. I rolled in for breakfast not long after 10am on a Saturday morning after dropping my wife off to participate in a sponsored walk on 01/07/2017. When I arrived the cafe had 3 or 4 other people in, all clearly older 65+ sat at breakfast. After spending close to 10 minutes waiting at my table for somebody to take my order and after watching another elderly couple enter, be seated and have their order taken I approached the counter to p with the intention of placing my own. A further 4 minutes of standing waiting while my presence had been noticed by one of the waitresses being forced to wait until the waitresses had finished their conversion my order was eventually placed. The food was a mixed experience. The ingredients were of high quality - generously cut rashers of bacon overcooked and tough flavourful meaty sausage, a good sized egg with a tasty bright orange yolk with a bowl full too many really baked beans that had just been heated through and not cooked. Great ingredients prepared in a way that was a bit of a letdown- even more so when you factor in the price for a small breakfast, a whisker under £6 and that the place was pretty quiet- the staff weren't rushed off their feet. The WiFi was easy to use and while a welcome feature as the area has a fantastic mobile phone network infrastructure supporting it you're fine for 4G which can gobble your data package with ease. Being able to get in a couple of YouTube vids while feeling neglected during my wait made life a little more pleasant. The one thing that will stay with me from this experience is that it was very clear that as I was not one of the pitched to clientele my custom was far less valued. Would not recommend to a friend.
Welsh Rarebit was the best! And the service is awesome!
Food was great was eating alone and when I went to the toilet to powder ones nose I came back and my coffee water and food had been cleared and new people were sat at my table. They took the coffee off the bill but it was annoying that they cleared the table so quickly.
We arrived and were basically ignored. We went to our table and waited for 15 minutes. The table was dirty so after the 15 minutes we asked the waitress to clean the table and take our order. We were told she would do this when she was ready. We got up and left. Awful experience. Very unfriendly staff.
Excellent burger just done to my liking a bit heavy on the onion rings but to be fair they said a stack and it was a stack. Good food.
Great food, brilliant atmosphere, staff were very friendly and the place was all kitted out for pirate weekend! Great place for a bite to eat.
Superb food, great staff, plenty of seats. Great service and a very good price. Will definitely be returning when in Conwy.
Nicely decorated Cafe. Food was good and decent portion size however the staff weren't overly friendly.
