Loved this place. It's close to the river with plenty of space for tents, van's and yurts alike. The local pub is nearby but don't forget your torch at night. There is one lonely portaloo which in our experience was always clean and topped up with loo roll. Will definitely visit again, next time for longer.
If you want a back to basics natural surroundings quiet no fuss site, this is the place. Had a portaloo if needed access to water if needed and recycle bins other than that it's you and nature at its best. Great quiet weekend was had
A lovely, friendly campsite in the middle of beautiful countryside and at the base of a motte and bailey castle by the river Nene. We really enjoyed our stay.
Absolutely love this place Beautiful spot right on the river Nene, completely off grid wild camping with just water & porta loos on site … Perfect Campfires allowed, a real gem !
Firstly I'd like to say the location of this campsite is perfect however the customer service was abhorrent never have I witnessed such poor service in all my years camping! I have stopped at this campsite before but I will never visit again kaz verbally assaulted my father inlaw and berated my mother in law possibly the nicest woman you will ever meet! After arriving on time they parked in the wrong area, were chased off by kaz who then thrust a clipboard in their faces before being chastised and then attempting to belittle them! Thankfully neither of them reacted to this attack and a neighbouring campsite was able to facilitate our group. I understand busy times and heat can result in stress but as a paying customer I expect better. Very disappointed.

Would have got 5 stars if there was somewhere to shower. The location is great if you want to spend time on the river. There are some nice walks around too. Would recommend a trip to the local pub.
Wonderful spot, enclosed, running water and waste desposal. Beautiful views set next to the castle, and the river you can swim in as its clear. We ate at the falcon that was also lovely. We will definitely be back, thank you
