Have been here several times. Plenty of parking, lovely staff, good service, good food. My daughter enjoyed her burger, I had the cajun salmon salad - was delicious. Parking: Have previously parked a motorhome here overnight.
Amazing food. Love this place. I'm coming back. Perfect food. Food: 5/5
Great place for children - indoor soft play was a little smelly but once they opened the double doors to the outdoor area it was much better. Recommend that children wear socks! Ordering is easy as its now via an app. No long queues at the bar and waiting staff bring everything to your table except carvery dinner. Sat next to the double doors to the soft play area, not too noisy and it was out of the way of people traffic to the carvery or bar. Lots of hand sanitiser dotted around the restaurant which is good. Was VERY hot in there! Plenty of parking and outdoor seating. Reservatuons/bookings not taken on Sunday's.
Got seated faster than told so very pleased, we all had an awesome carvery and was very tastey no complaints at all really! Good desserts! Handy kids play area to which is now 2.80 per child but they spent at least an hour in there over the two hours we were in there. They were very busy so desserts took a little longer than we expected but over all not bad at all. The toilets were bit dodgy, hand driers not working and the hot taps were very hot. Definitely going back there again though. Kid-friendliness: Kids play area is good for under 10s Parking: When its busy youll have to look quickly for spaces
Food was alright. Served by Alanis, who was an absolute sweetheart! Atmosphere was ok, enjoyed the 90's music!Food: 3/5
Good quality food at a reasonable price. The place could do with a bit of refurbishment. On a recent visit the Gents toilets were flooded. The "clocks" theme is bit naff. Recently I used them for a Sunday breakfast and the service was incredibly slow.Food: 4/5
Not as bad as going to the dentist, but not an experience I'd like to repeat. Not greeted on entry, but made to follow instructions on a board find a table, place an order, this despite there being 2 members of staff at a greeters style stand.. Although it wasn't busy the bar felt short staffed. The food was a real let down. The meat was nice as was the cauliflower cheese, and the parsnips were delicious but the mash tasted like it came from a packet, the veggies were mushy and the Yorkshire puddings really dry. When we left we weren't asked how our meal was or told to have a nice evening. Much as I don't like to rate places lowly this was a pretty disappointing experience and I hope for the staff's sake it improves.
Went at 2pm today for Carvery and was really disappointed, They clearly do not refresh anything this time of day as was all old food out. Sadly we did not eat anything other than Mash and Gravy as the meal was not up to recent standards. Previously we’ve had some really good meals but it’s clear that when they have different Chefs on.
Food is OK,not exactly cheap, but decent. Both times I've been in recently had to wait for cutlery while my meal sat in front of me. The nut roast takes a while to cook and the meat portions are very poor. Vegetarian options: Good options. Kid-friendliness: Family orientated business. Parking: Not huge car park and can get very busy but always managed to get a space. Wheelchair accessibility: There are no visible steps. All flat surface.
Went here for a carvery, didn't expect to much tbh. Bit expensive compared to the quality of other places I've visited. Had the pork but didn't really taste great. Good place to visit if u want a standard roast and a kids play area other than that nothing else to really say.Food: 2/5
